APPARATUS, METHODS, AND COMPUTER-READABLE MEDIUM FOR CONTROLLING POSITIONING OF A DESK

Apparatus, methods, and computer-readable medium are disclosed for controlling positioning of a desk. An exemplary apparatus includes a tabletop, expandable legs, motors, position sensors, a processor, and a memory configured to store instructions. The motors alter a length of one of the expandable legs. The position sensors identify current position of each of the plurality of expandable legs. The instructions cause the processor to receive a sensor signal, a communication signal, or a command signal, receive the identified current position of one or more of the expandable legs, determine a projected length value for the one or more expandable legs responsive to the received sensor signal, the communication signal, or the command signal, and command one or more of the plurality of motors based on the projected length value for the one or more expandable legs and the identified current position of the one or more expandable legs.

A collision prevention control system based on an electric lifting table and a collision prevention method thereof are provided. The collision prevention control system includes a lifting table, an electronic lifting table control box disposed on the lifting table, and a single-chip microcomputer disposed in the electric lifting table control box. The electric lifting table control box is internally provided with an acceleration and gyroscope chip, the acceleration and gyroscope chip performing synchronous motion with the lifting table, the acceleration and gyroscope chip being in information interaction with the single-chip microcomputer, and motion control on the lifting table being performed through the single-chip microcomputer. The collision prevention control system has the advantageous effects as follows: has higher sensitivity and more reliable operation, and senses a slight angular change or an acceleration change when the lifting table encounters resistance.

WORKSTATION HEIGHT-ADJUSTMENT MONITORING

A workstation including a height-adjustable work surface is described. The workstation includes a frame, and the work surface is configured to translate relative to the frame to vary a height of the work surface. A lift assembly configured to assist translation of the work surface relative to the frame. The lift assembly includes a moveable component and translation of the moveable component results in a translation of the work surface relative to the frame. A translation sensor is coupled to one of the frame or the movable component, and it is configured to measure translation of the moveable component relative to the frame. A control circuit is in communication with the translation sensor to determine an amount of translation of the work surface relative to the frame.

The invention provides a lifting desk control method including a motor drive unit, a current detection unit and an arithmetic unit. The control method comprises the steps of: detecting current a at the current time t1 and current b at time t2; calculating the current change rate L=(ba)/(t2t1); and comparing L with a set value, judging that an obstacle is encountered if the set value is exceeded, and issuing a stopping or retreating instruction to a motor by the motor drive unit. The scheme employed by the invention is to calculate the change rate of current, so judgment is made with higher accuracy and whether an obstacle is encountered is judged with high sensitivity.
