X-RAY BAGGAGE AND PARCEL INSPECTION SYSTEM WITH EFFICIENT THIRD-PARTY IMAGE PROCESSING
In an approach to X-ray inspection image display systems, a colorized X-ray inspection image is received comprising a monochrome X-ray inspection image that is colorized in accordance with an X-ray inspection system false colorization scheme. The colorized X-ray inspection image is filtered by performing pixel shading on the colorized X-ray inspection image to generate a custom colorized X-ray inspection image having a custom false colorization scheme that is different from the X-ray inspection system false colorization scheme.
INSPECTION SYSTEM AND INSPECTION METHOD
To shorten a waiting time for a belongings inspection, the present invention provides an inspection system 10 including: an electromagnetic wave transmission/reception unit 11 that irradiates an electromagnetic wave having a wavelength of equal to or more than 30 micrometers and equal to or less than one meter, and receives a reflection wave; a detection unit 12 that performs detection processing, based on a signal of the reflection wave; a decision unit 13 that decides a path in which an inspection target person advances, based on a result of the detection processing; and a guide unit 14 that performs processing of guiding the inspection target person to a decided path.
Scanning systems
The present application is directed toward cargo scanning systems having scanners, each arranged to scan a respective object and generate a set of scan data, processors arranged to process each set of scan data to determine whether it meets a predetermined threat condition, workstations, and data management system arranged to direct data that meets the threat condition to one of the workstations for analysis.
SECURITY INSPECTION DEVICE AND TRANSFER METHOD THEREFOR
The present disclosure relates to a security inspection device and a transfer method, and the security inspection device includes an arm frame, provided with detectors, and configured to form an inspection channel; a first compartment, internally provided with a radiation source and connected with the arm frame, a protection wall, connected with the first compartment or the arm frame, and configured to perform radiation protection for an object to be protected, and a tire assembly, configured to enable the security inspection device to move relative to the ground, and the arm frame, the first compartment, the protection wall and the tire assembly are set to be transported together in a connected state.
RADIATION INSPECTION APPARATUS AND RADIATION INSPECTION METHOD
The present disclosure provides a radiation inspection apparatus and a radiation inspection method. The radiation inspection apparatus includes: a radiation inspection device comprising a ray source and a detector that cooperates with the ray source to perform scanning inspection on an object to be inspected, the radiation inspection device having an inspection channel for the object to be inspected to pass through when scanning inspection is performed thereon; and traveling wheels provided at the bottom of the radiation inspection device to enable the radiation inspection apparatus to travel in an extension direction of the inspection channel, and the traveling wheels are configured to rotate 90° to enable the radiation inspection apparatus to travel in a direction perpendicular to the extension direction of the inspection channel.
Systems and methods for detecting threats and contraband in cargo
The present specification discloses systems and methods for identifying and reporting contents of a tanker, container or vehicle. Programmatic tools are provided to assist an operator in analyzing contents of a tanker, container or vehicle. Manifest data is automatically imported into the system for each shipment, thereby helping security personnel to quickly determine container contents. In case of a mismatch between container contents shown by manifest data and the contents as ascertained from the scanning system, the container or vehicle may be withheld for further inspection.
MULTI-CHANNEL STATIC CT DEVICE
A multi-channel static CT device is provided, and the multi-channel static CT device includes: a scanning channel including a plurality of scanning sub-channels; a distributed X-ray source including a plurality of ray emission points arranged around the scanning channel; and a detector module including a plurality of detectors arranged around the scanning channel, wherein the plurality of detectors are arranged corresponding to the plurality of ray emission points.
Systems and methods for X-ray diffraction virtual spectroscopy
Various aspects include methods and devices for reducing the scanning time for an X-ray diffraction scanner system by increasing the count rate or efficiency of the energy discriminating X-ray detector. In a first embodiment, the count rate of the energy discriminating X-ray detector is increased by increasing the number of detectors counting X-ray scatter photon in particular energy bins by configuring individual pixel detectors within a 2-D X-ray detector array to count photons within specific energy bins. In a second embodiment, the gain of amplifier components in the detector processing circuitry is increased in order to increase the energy resolution of the detector. In a third embodiment, the individual pixel detectors within a 2-D X-ray detector array are configured to count photons within specific energy bins and the gain of amplifier components in the detector processing circuitry is increased in order to increase the energy resolution of the detector.
IMAGE SENSOR HAVING RADIATION DETECTORS OF DIFFERENT ORIENTATIONS
Disclosed herein is an image sensor comprising: a first, a second, and a third radiation detectors, each of which comprising a planar surface to receive radiation from a radiation source; wherein the planar surfaces of the first radiation detector and the second radiation detector are not parallel, the planar surfaces of the second radiation detector and the third radiation detector are not parallel, and the planar surfaces of the third radiation detector and the first radiation detector are not parallel; wherein the first radiation detector, the second radiation detector and the third radiation detector are not arranged in the same row; wherein the first, the second and the third radiation detectors are configured such that the planar surface of each of them includes a position at which an angle of incidence of the radiation from the radiation source is 0°.
Stationary X-ray source
Embodiments provide a stationary X-ray source for a multisource X-ray imaging system for tomographic imaging. The stationary X-ray source includes an array of thermionic cathodes and, in most embodiments a rotating anode. The anode rotates about a rotation axis, however the anode is stationary in the horizontal or vertical dimensions (e.g. about axes perpendicular to the rotation axis). The elimination of mechanical motion improves the image quality by elimination of mechanical vibration and source motion; simplifies system design that reduces system size and cost; increases angular coverage with no increase in scan time; and results in short scan times to, in medical some medical imaging applications, reduce patient-motion-induced blurring.
