Structure Estimation System and Structure Estimation Program
The present disclosure relates to a system and a non-transitory computer-readable medium for estimating the height of foreign matter, etc. adhering to a sample. In order to achieve the abovementioned purpose, proposed is a system, etc. in which data acquired by a charged particle beam device or features extracted from the data are input to a learning model, which is provided with, in an intermediate layer thereof, a parameter learned using teacher data having data acquired by the charged particle beam device or features extracted from the data as inputs and having the heights or depths of the structures of samples or of foreign matter on the samples as outputs, and height or depth information is output.
Product scanning
A method for detecting defects in a product (10), such as food packaging, having a range of thicknesses of cross-section through which detection will take place; the method comprising: scanning the product (10), with for instance x-rays, to identify one or more light regions, and one or more dense regions of the product; and creating a first signal path and a second signal path from a single set of scanning data, and conditioning: the first signal path for detection of defects in the one or more dense regions; and the second signal path for detection of defects (14a, 14b, 14c) in the one or more light regions. Advantageously, detection of defects in the contents (dense region) of a product and the seal (light region) of the product is conducted simultaneously.
Inspection method and inspection device for membrane electrode assembly
An inspection method of a membrane electrode assembly includes a first process of acquiring an X-ray transmission image of the membrane electrode assembly, a second process of identifying a luminance-reduced region having a luminance lower than a luminance of a surrounding region in the X-ray transmission image acquired in the first process, a third process of correcting the luminance of the luminance-reduced region identified in the second process, in accordance with a planar size of the luminance-reduced region, based on a correlation between a planar size of a foreign matter in the membrane electrode assembly and change in luminance due to diffraction of X-rays, and a fourth process of finding a thickness of the foreign matter in the membrane electrode assembly based on the luminance corrected in the third process.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR AUTONOMOUSLY REMOVING FASTENERS EMBEDDED IN WOOD PRODUCTS
A method includes: receiving a recycled wood workpiece populated with a set of metal fasteners; accessing an internal imaging scan; detecting the set of metal fasteners embedded in the recycled wood workpiece based on internal features detected in the internal imaging scan; for each metal fastener in the set of metal fasteners, extracting an initial position and an initial orientation of the metal fastener from the internal imaging scan; generating a virtual model of the recycled wood workpiece based on the internal imaging scan; accessing an image captured by an optical sensor; detecting a first metal fastener in the recycled wood workpiece; deriving a first position and a first orientation of the first metal fastener; and, in response to identifying the first metal fastener analogous to an initial metal fastener in the virtual model, isolating the first metal fastener in the virtual model and generating a fastener removal schedule.
Method and system utilizing imaging analysis for golf balls
A method and system for determining concentricity of a multiple layer golf ball are disclosed herein. One or more images of a golf ball are generated using an X-ray source, a camera or a digital detector, and an image intensifier. An edge detection algorithm is preferably utilized. The method also includes calculating Y,Z center coordinates of the a best fit diameter or ellipse of the inner edge layer and outer edge layer of the multiple layer golf ball.
INSPECTION APPARATUS AND INSPECTION METHOD
An inspection apparatus for inspecting an inspection target surface arranged on an inspection plane, includes an X-ray generation tube having a target including an X-ray generation portion that generates X-rays by irradiation with an electron beam, and configured to emit X-rays to the inspection plane; and an X-ray detector configured to detect X-rays emitted from a foreign substance existing on the inspection target surface irradiated with the X-rays from the X-ray generation portion and totally reflected by the inspection target surface. The X-ray detector has an energy resolution not less than 1 keV or the X-ray detector has no energy analysis function.
