LATERAL FLOW ASSAY DEVICE FOR DETECTION OF ANALYTES AND METHOD OF DETECTION THEREOF
A lateral flow assay device for detection of an analyte in a sample and a method of detection thereof is provided. A quantitative assay for detection of an analyte in a sample is provided. A conjugate is provided. A method of diagnosing COVID 19 in a patient is provided.
Tomato Zonate Spot Virus Detection Reagent
This invention provides a tomato zonate spot virus detection reagent. Optimized gene encoding N protein of TZSV is expressed and purified to obtain N protein of TZSV, and two specific hybridoma cell lines are obtained, from which specific anti-TZSV monoclonal antibody could be obtained, respectively. Test strip for detecting tomato zonate spot virus is prepared with the monoclonal antibody. It is proven by experiments that the test strip of this invention is specific for TZSV, and can realize rapid detection of TZSV in leaves and other samples, with high sensitivity and convenient operation.
PROBE FOR DETECTING VIRUS
The present invention relates to a composition comprising a probe for detecting six representative causative viruses of acute enteritis (norovirus genogroup I and genogroup II, rotavirus, hepatitis A virus, coxsackievirus, astrovirus, and adenovirus), and a DNA microarray, a kit, and a detection method comprising the composition. The present invention is effective due to high specificity and sensitivity to viruses. In addition, since the causative viruses can simply be detected at low cost compared to conventional detection methods, without expensive diagnosis devices or specialists, the present invention may be effectively used as a method for diagnosing viruses causing acute enteritis.
NON-HUMAN PRIMATE-DERIVED PAN-EBOLA AND PAN-FILOVIRUS MONOCLONAL ANTIBODIES DIRECTED AGAINST ENVELOPE GLYCOPROTEINS
The disclosure provides non-human primate-derived binding molecules, e.g., antibodies or antigen-binding fragments thereof, that can bind to orthologous epitopes found on two or more filovirus species or strains.
Human Ebola virus species and compositions and methods thereof
Compositions and methods including and related to the Ebola Bundibugyo virus (EboBun) are provided. Compositions are provided that are operable as immunogens to elicit and immune response or protection from EboBun challenge in a subject such as a primate. Inventive methods are directed to detection and treatment of EboBun infection.
DISTINCTION OF INFECTIOUS VIRUS BASED ON MOLECULAR BIOMARKER AND NEUTRALIZATION OF VIRUS CAUSING FOOD POISONING
Discloses are a method for detecting Norovirus using a Norovirus animal model, a method for screening an antivial agent against Norovirus, and a composition for neutralizing the infection with an enteric virus, containing concanavalin A as an active ingredient, so that the method for detecting Norovirus can allow the distinction between infectious Norovirus and non-infectious Norovirus, and the composition can neutralize a virus causing food poisoning.
NOROVIRUS ANTIBODIES
The present invention relates to a binding polypeptide specifically binding to the amino acid sequence W-V-N-X.sup.1-F-Y-X.sup.2 (SEQ ID NO: 1), wherein X.sup.1 represents any amino acid, preferably Q or P, and wherein X.sup.2 represents any amino acid, preferably, T or S in a norovirus polypeptide. The present invention further relates to polynucleotide encoding a binding polypeptide of the present invention an to a host cell comprising the same or the polynucleotide of the invention. The present invention further relates to a method of detecting the presence of a norovirus capsid polypeptide in a sample and to kits, devices, and uses making use of the binding peptide of the invention.
EBOLAVIRUS PRE-HAIRPIN INTERMEDIATE MIMICS AND METHODS OF USE
Ebolavirus is a highly lethal filovirus that causes hemorrhagic fever in humans and non-human primates. With no approved treatments or preventatives, the development of an anti-ebolavirus therapy to protect against natural infections and potential weaponization is an urgent unmet global health need. The design, biophysical characterization, and validation of peptide mimics of the ebolavirus N-trimer (“N-trimer mimics”) are described herein.
Anti-Dengue Virus NS1 Protein Monoclonal Antibodies
The present invention provides matched antibody pairs for the specific detection of one or more of the four dengue virus serotypes in a biological sample that may contain one or more of such dengue virus serotypes. Each matched antibody pair is capable of detecting not more than one serotype of dengue virus NS1 protein that may be present in the sample and will not cross react with other serotypes that may be present in the sample. Multiple matched pairs may be used to detect one or more dengue virus serotypes that may be present in a sample. Such matched pair antibodies, facilitate the development of confirmatory in vitro diagnostic tests such as sandwich immunoassays, that detect and distinguish the presence of one or more dengue virus serotypes in a biological sample, preferably a sample derived from human subject. The invention also provides kits comprising the matched antibody pairs of the invention and methods for using the kits for immunoassays for the specific detection of one or more serotypes of dengue virus in a patient population. The present invention also provides monoclonal antibodies specific for the NS1 protein of dengue virus and therapeutic compositions and methods for treating dengue virus infection.
Infectious bursal disease (IBDV) vaccine compositions
Provided herein are methods and compositions relating to Infectious Bursal Disease Virus (IBDV), and vaccines for treatment and prevention thereof.
