The invention relates to a sensor device with a beaker-like sensor housing and a wired sensor, wherein the beaker-like sensor housing has an introduction region for insertion of the wired sensor, an orientation region for orientating the wired sensor, and a placement region for final placement and securing of the wired sensor close to an end face of the sensor. The orientation region has an internal cross-sectional contour which is adapted to the cross-sectional contour of the sensor, and the sensor is introduced into a curable material in its placement region in the sensor housing to fixedly secure the sensor in the placement region against movement.

A nut is used with being fixed to a sensor cap. The sensor cap is attached to an outer ring of a bearing in a wheel bearing device of an automobile. The sensor cap includes a sensor holder for holding a magnetic sensor. The nut is made of steel, and has a screw portion in which a bolt is screwed to attach the magnetic sensor to the sensor cap. A surface of the nut is coated with a zinc-nickel alloy plating layer with a nickel eutectic ratio of 8 to 18%.

Corrision-resistant heated air data probe

An air data probe is disclosed. The air data probe may include a probe body having an interior cavity and coated by a protective shell. A sensing port may be disposed in the air data probe and may extend through the probe body. The sensing port may also be lined by the protective shell. The protective shell may be made of an austenitic nickel-chromium alloy, or stainless steel, or any relatively corrosion resistant material. The probe body may be made of nickel, or a nickel alloy, or any relatively thermally conductive material. The protective shell may be joined to the probe body by additive manufacturing, such as laser cladding. In this manner, an air data probe capable withstanding high temperatures without corrosion and yet also being relatively thermally conductive is disclosed.

The disclosure relates to a reflection unit applied to an ultrasonic anemometer and used to reflect ultrasonic waves from a transmitter, wherein the reflected ultrasonic waves are received by a receiver. The reflection unit comprises a reflection plate and further comprises a mesh cover layer structure covering on the upper surface of the reflection plate. In an embodiment of the present disclosure, the mesh cover layer is provided on the reflection plate, so that the raindrops/water droplets falling on the reflection unit can be quickly scattered on the surface of the reflection unit, thereby eliminating the irregular shape and high liquid accumulation formed on the surface of the reflection unit, ensuring the accuracy of ultrasonic anemometer measurements in wind and rain conditions.

Integrated Acceleration, Speed and Vibration Sensor

Disclosed is an integrated acceleration, speed and vibration sensor. The sensor includes a housing, a base, a sensing and signal processing circuit, a current loop circuit, an anti-surge PTC and an aviation plug. The housing is mounted on the base. The sensing and signal processing circuit and the current loop circuit are used to fabricate a PCB circuit board, and then the PCB circuit board is mounted in the housing. A power supply and signal line is connected to the aviation plug. An M6 threaded hole is formed in a bottom of the housing of the sensor and is used to connect with an object to be detected. A power supply is negatively connected to one end of a varistor and the other end of the varistor is connected to the housing as the anti-surge PTC to play a protective role. The M6 threaded hole formed in the bottom of the housing of the sensor is used to connect with the object to be detected and improve the stability. At the same time, after the PCB circuit board is mounted, adhesive filling is performed to improve the vibration resistance.

The sensing element comprises a sensor body and a first load cell arrangement connected to the sensor body. The sensor body has a three dimensional shape which is rotationally symmetric about a longitudinal axis passing through the first load cell arrangement and the sensor body. The first load cell arrangement is configured to measure the force exerted on the sensor body by fluid flow in at least an xy plane perpendicular to the longitudinal axis. A system for measuring fluid flow comprising the sensing element and a method for measuring fluid flow using the sensing element and the system are also provided.

A monitoring device includes a sensor module disposed between an aeroshell and a cavity assembly. A surface of the aeroshell and a surface of the cavity assembly may form a flow-facing surface of the monitoring device. A junction area on the flow-facing surface within which the aeroshell abuts the cavity assembly may be a smooth surface to minimize the disruption to the surrounding flow of fluid. The sensor module may sample the absolute pressure from ports distributed about the flow-facing surface. The absolute pressure measurements may be used to compute the velocity of the fluid flow, including speed and/or direction. The monitoring device may be powered by inductively received energy or harvested energy. In one variant of the monitoring device, the monitoring device may be constructed from an electrically coupled mosaic of flexible thin-profile tiles, each of which may be responsible for one functional aspect of the monitoring device.
