A windsock assembly for indicating a direction of wind includes a base that is mountable on a roof of a vehicle. An antenna is pivotally coupled to and extends upwardly from the base. A windsock is coupled to the antenna such that the windsock is exposed to wind to indicate a direction of the wind. A lighting unit is coupled to the antenna and the lighting unit emitting light outwardly from the antenna when the lighting unit is turned for illuminating an area proximate the antenna.

Gas Flow Indicator Device

A gas-flow indicator has an elongate housing defining a gas flow chamber between first and second ends, with an annular indicator within the chamber from the first end over part of the length enabling gas to pass along a bore through the indicator. The indicator is spaced from a sidewall of the housing, defining an annular space. A concealment member is movable from the first end by gas flow through the chamber, against a biasing towards the first end and has a skirt receivable into the space to seal at the first end, while the other end of the concealment member defines an opening resisting gas flow. The skirt is hold-able to conceal the indicator at a housing window. Increasing gas flow achieves pressure to overcome the bias, and the concealment member moves towards the second end, exposing the indicator member through the window, to indicate gas flow.

System and method for automated electronic guidance during emergencies

An emergency responder guidance system and method for directing emergency responder vehicles in a restricted area. The system includes a sensor device, an interface device, or both, disposed in the restricted area and operable to provide an indication of an emergency condition in the restricted area. The systems includes a visual indicators disposed at a different locations along pathway of the restricted area. The systems includes a response path generator communicatively coupled with the sensor device, the interface device, or both, and with the plurality of visual indicators. The response path generator determines a target path through the pathway to a location of the emergency condition.

FLUID SENSING DEVICE

The invention discloses a fluid sensing device provided in a flow path through which fluid flows, including a base fixed in the flow path; a piston core rod disposed in the base and connected to the base through an elastic member, the piston core rod being provided with a pushing surface pushed by the fluid in the flow path; a magnet provided on the piston core rod; a magnetic sensing device provided on a side surface of the piston core rod to sense change of magnetic line received as change of position of the magnet, thereby determining whether fluid flows in flow path; wherein the elastic member is disposed such that direction of the restoring force thereof is opposite to the direction of fluid flow in flow path. The present invention has fewer parts and easy production, and can reduce judgement difference caused by low flow rate.

Methods and apparatuses for indicating the presence of a directional differential pressure between separated adjacent spaces are provided. A differential pressure set point indicator may be configured to correlate multiple potential angles of inclination of an elongated conduit to respective threshold differential pressures between two spaces which generate net flow of fluid sufficient to cause a lightweight ball to move from one region of the conduit to an opposing region. The elongated conduit may be adjustable in length so as to accommodate installation of the device into walls of varying thickness. The device may include a sound attenuator that reduces noise upon impact of the ball with either end of the conduit. The device may also include a sealing material that is flexible yet firm enough to provide both a seal with the exterior surface of the conduit and support for the conduit when oriented in a tilted configuration.
