The present disclosure provides an apparatus to measure swing mass moments of sports implements. The present disclosure further provides an apparatus to measure a center of mass point of sports implements. Some embodiments of the present disclosure further provide a single, compact apparatus configured to measure both a swing mass moment and a center of mass point of a sports implement. The disclosed swing mass measurement apparatus provides a compact mechanical device configured to quickly, accurately measure even small differences of implement swing mass. The disclosed center of mass point measurement apparatus provides a large roller rod adjuster, allowing easy adjustment of tested implements into balance of center mass over rod, then a touch stylus is moved into contact with the tested implements handle, for an accurate location measurement, that is projected onto a double size scale readout for enhanced comprehension.

An inventory tracking system includes a tracking device coupled to a transport structure that is designed to carry items. The tracking device includes a processor as well as several modules operatively connected to the processor for determining the location of the transport structure. The tracking device determines location using a short-range communication module when the tracking device is within a storage facility. When outside of the storage facility, the tracking device determines a location of the transport structure using a satellite navigation module. A mobile communication module is used to determine the location of the transport structure if neither the short-range communication module nor the satellite navigation module is successful.

In a case where the number of accelerations where acceleration values exceeds the second threshold value among the plural accelerations is a predetermined number or less, the impact as a single-type impact is determined. In a case where the number exceeds the predetermined number, the impact as a multiple-type impact is determined. Also included is an output unit outputting a signal in a case where the impact is determined as the multiple-type impact.

Tunable shock sensor with parallel dipole line trap system

A tunable and resettable shock sensor using a parallel dipole line (PDL) trap system is provided. In one aspect, a shock sensor includes: a PDL trap having a pair of diametric magnets separated from one another by a gap g.sub.M, and a diamagnetic rod levitating in between the diametric magnets; and contact pads below the PDL trap, wherein the contact pads are separated from one another by a space that is less than a length l of the diamagnetic rod. A shock monitoring system is also provided that includes a network of the shock sensors, as is a method for shock monitoring using the shock sensors.
