Passenger transport seats with lateral seat lips
Seat assemblies are provided which include a seat base structure, a seat cushion supported by the seat base structure and at least a lateral outboard seat lip positioned relative to the seat cushion so as to assist a passenger during seat entry and exit. The lateral outboard seat lip is preferably attached relative to the seat cushion for manual movements between an extended position wherein the outboard seat lip extends outwardly thereby increasing effective surface area of the seat cushion and a deflected position wherein the outboard seat lip extends upwardly or downwardly relative to the seat cushion so as to thereby decrease the effective surface area of the seat cushion.
PIECE OF SEATING FURNITURE
A piece of seating furniture having a base member, on the upper side of which a padded seat surface is provided, and having at least one backrest member with an upholstered backrest surface, which can be positioned in various positions on the upper side of the base member. A slot structure is provided in the padded seat surface of the base member, which penetrates the padded seat surface, and furthermore a guide member is connected to the backrest member which projects through the upholstered seat surface in the area of the slot structure.
ADJUSTABLE CHAIR
The present invention relates to an adjustable chair (10) comprising: a seat base (12) defining a seating surface portion (14) for receiving a user thereon in use, the seat base (12) comprising an integral seat back engagement portion (20) for engaging with a portion of a seat back (16), a seat front portion (40) opposing the seat back engagement portion (20), a first seat side portion and a second seat side portion opposing the first seat side portion, each of the first and second seat side portions located between the seat back engagement portion (20) and the seat front portion (40) and extending substantially transverse to the seat surface portion (14); and a seat back (16) having a seat base engagement portion (18) dimensioned to slidably engage with the seat back engagement portion (20) to form a seat back adjustment mechanism, wherein the seat back adjustment mechanism is located adjacent at least one of the first and second seat side portions and wherein the seat back adjustment mechanism is movable between a first locked configuration in which the seat back (16) and seat base (12) are fixed relative to one another and the seating surface portion (14) has a fixed surface area, and a second released configuration in which the seat back (16) is slidable relative to the seat base (12) to vary the surface area of the seating surface portion (14). Also provided is such a chair with an adjustable footrest (22) to vary the distance between the seat base (12) and the footplate (54) and/or to vary the angle between the seat base (12) and the footrest (22).

MOVABLE CHAIR SUPPORT STRUCTURE AND CHAIR HAVING THE SAME
The present disclosure provides a movable chair support structure including a movable mechanism, a fixing support structure and a chair support structure. The movable mechanism includes a transmission component and a movable component. The chair support structure includes a chair support portion, which has a length of 500 mm to 530 mm. When the movable chair support structure is disposed on the ground, the chair support portion is inclined relative to a direction parallel to the ground. The chair support portion is pivotally connected to the movable component. The movable component is pivotally connected to the fixing support structure. The transmission component is independently pivotally connected to the chair support portion and the movable component, respectively. The transmission component rotates relative to the chair support structure and drives the movable component to move, so as to adjust a position of the chair support structure relative to the fixing support structure.

Seat positioning system for a wheelchair
A seat positioning system includes a base frame having a pair of forward slots and a pair of rear slots, and a seat frame having a front end and a back end. The seat frame is coupled to the base frame and movable relative to the base frame. A first pair of linkages is slideably coupled to the pair of forward slots and connects the frames. A first pair of locking devices has a locked configuration adapted to prevent the first pair of linkages from sliding relative to the pair of forward slots and an unlocked configuration adapted to allow the first pair of linkages to slide relative to the pair of forward slots. A second pair of linkages slideably is coupled to the pair of rear slots and connects the frames. An actuator is pivotally connected to both the seat frame and the base frame and is configured to extend and contract to move the seat frame relative to the base frame.
