Chair
A chair includes a seat (2) and also includes a pair of thigh support elements (17) pivotal n a generally downwardly direction about front pivot axes (20) from a first state forming with a central seat element (15) a substantially common plane, to a second downwardly extending state. The elements (17) are also pivotal about second pivot axes in a generally rearwardly direction for urging the user's thighs away from each other for stretching the adductor muscles. Foot support members (49) extend transversely and sidewardly on respective opposite sides of the chair (1) from a support element (46) for supporting the foot during a stretching exercise with the corresponding thigh of the subject extending downwardly from the seat (14) and the lower leg extending from the knee in a upwardly inclined direction to the foot support member (49) for stretching the quadriceps and the hip flexor muscles of the subject.

Pivot fitting and piece of furniture
A pivot fitting for movable furniture parts on pieces of furniture, has a first lever and a second lever that are mounted to pivot about a common axis from a basic position through a predetermined angle, a clamping mechanism with which the two levers are fixable relative to each other at different angular positions within the predetermined angle. The clamping mechanism includes a toothing attached in a rotationally fixed manner to the second lever, at least one catch pivotally mounted on the first lever and loaded in the direction of the toothing, the catch engaging with the toothing in a detent position, a control disc mounted to pivot about the common axis, with which control disc the at least one catch can be disengaged from the toothing when the predetermined angle has been passed in an adjusting direction from the basic position so that when the catch is disengaged from the toothing, the two levers can be pivoted back into the basic position when the predetermined angle is passed in a resetting direction. The control disc can be carried by the toothing, resting thereon with a friction fit, and is mounted so as to pivot about a switching angle relative to the first lever.
Armchair
According to the invention, the armchair has a seat, supporting feet, a stand-up aid, and a chassis with wheels for moving the armchair. The chassis is adjustable relative to the supporting feet between at least a first and a second position, with the wheels being spaced apart in the first position of the footprint while the armchair is supported with the supporting feet on the footprint, and with the wheels being in rolling contact with the footprint in the second position while the supporting feet are arranged so as to be spaced apart from the footprint. The aid has an adjustment mechanism with a servomotor, with the adjustment mechanism being coupled with the chassis for the purpose of displacing the chassis by means of the servomotor between the first and second position.
Chair tilt mechanism
A chair can include a chair back, or backrest, that is coupled to a base of a chair above a seat of the chair. A tilt mechanism can attach the backrest to the base. In some embodiments, the tilt mechanism can be configured so that the backrest rotates about multiple pivots as it reclines from an upright position to a reclined position to drive motion of the seat during recline of the backrest.
Video-caster chair
A customizable chair is disclosed that includes an “over-the shoulder” region where users can affix graphic patches. The region that the graphic patches are placed is visible from a number of perspectives including a user-broadcaster sitting in the chair.

Systems and methods for providing ergonomic exercise chairs
A chair for providing seating support to a user and for providing ways for the user to perform exercises. The chair includes a back support that is flexible such that when a force is applied to it by the user's body, the back support bends. The back support may be configured to adapt to the curvature of the user's spine when the user is seated in the chair. The back support may further be configured such that the user can rotate the back support by rotating the user's upper body.

Telescoping mechanism
In an aspect, provided is an adjustable telescoping assembly. The adjustable telescoping assembly comprises a first support member and a second support member that is slidable upon the first support member and which defines an interior volume. At least one damping element is provided that extends from outside the second support member, through the second support member into the interior volume and engages the first support member.
