The invention relates to a measurement instrument, such as an oscilloscope, comprising a measurement unit adapted to receive an input signal, and a processing unit adapted to classify the input signal, preferably based on signal parameters or characteristics of the input signal. wherein the processing unit is adapted to determine a signal analysis category for the input signal based on said classification of the input signal, and to match the determined signal analysis category to a control configuration, which defines settings and/or configurations of the measurement instrument, based on an adjustment function. The measurement instrument further comprises a user interface configured to display at least one graphical representation, in particular a waveform, of the input signal based on the control configuration, wherein the user interface is adapted to receive a user input to modify the settings and/or configurations of the measurement instrument, and wherein the processing unit is configured to dynamically adapt the adjustment function based on said user input.

The present invention relates to a test system for testing a device under test, comprising a signal generating unit being connectable to an input node of the device under test and being adapted to generate a test signal to be applied to the input node of the device under test, wherein the test signal comprises a plurality of frequency peaks at different frequencies. A receiving unit is connectable to an output node of the device under test and is adapted to receive a response signal from the device under test in response to the test signal. An analyzing unit for analyzing the device under test is adapted to determine at least one of a gain value and a phase value based on the test signal generated by the signal generating unit and the response signal received by the receiving unit.
Noise source monitoring apparatus and noise source monitoring method
A noise source monitoring apparatus includes: an imaging unit for capturing an image of multiple switch units; an event time acquisition unit for acquiring a noise event time of a noise occurring in a control device; a switching time recognition unit for recognizing an on/off switching time of each of the multiple switch units; a correlation calculation unit for calculating, for every switch unit, the degree of correlation between occurrence of the noise and the on/off switching of the switch unit; and a display control unit for causing a display unit to display information indicating the degree of correlation for every switch unit.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PROCESSING OSCILLOSCOPE SIGNAL AND OSCILLOSCOPE
Embodiments of the present invention relate to the technical field of oscilloscopes and disclose a method and an apparatus for processing an oscilloscope signal and an oscilloscope. The method for processing the oscilloscope signal includes: obtaining a voltage signal; determining high and low level signals in the voltage signal according to a reference voltage; determining a valid digital signal from the high and low level signals; and displaying a waveform image of the digital signal. According to the embodiments of the present invention, the voltage signal may be converted into the digital signal without digital processing on the voltage signal via a hardware device such as an analog converter, thereby reducing costs of the oscilloscope and facilitating user operation and carrying.
Waveform display device that allows cycle time comparison to be made
A waveform display device displays first and second waveform data whose value changes with respect to a time axis. Based on a first point on the first waveform data, a second point on the second waveform data which is in a correspondence with the first point is obtained. Correspondence data indicating a correspondence between the first point and the second point is generated. Then, based on the correspondence data, the first and second waveform data is displayed in a manner such that a predetermined point (a reference point) on the first waveform data and a point on the second waveform data which is in a correspondence with the reference point overlap one another on a time axis.

In one implementation, a circuit can include a reference pin and an operational amplifier that can include an output pin, an inverting input pin and a non-inverting input pin. The inverting input pin can be electrically coupled to the output pin via a first impedance and to the reference pin via a second impedance. The non-inverting input pin can be electrically coupled to the reference pin via a third impedance and can be configured to receive a detection signal. The reference pin can be configured to receive a detection reference signal associated with the detection signal.

The present invention relates to an improved recording of context information for a measurement. For this purpose, it is suggested to receive context information from a user and to generate a dataset comprising the received context information. The context information may comprise one or more voice annotation. By using voice annotations for specifying context information of a measurement, a very simple and easy format for acquiring the context information from a user is achieved.

MEASUREMENT APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR ANALYZING A MEASUREMENT SIGNAL
The present invention relates to an enhanced control of a measurement device displaying a signal waveform of a measurement signal. For this purpose, the waveform of the measurement signal is displayed on a touch-screen. The touch-screen receives multi-digit touch gestures comprising at least two touch gestures. The touch gestures of the multi-digit touch gesture are analyzed in order to determine simultaneously an operation and a range of the measurement signal on which the determined operation has to be applied. In this way, the control of the measurement device can be simplified.
