TEST DEVICE AND PROCESS FOR TESTING THE CONFIGURATION OF AN EXTERNAL CIRCUIT FOR AN RC RECEIVER
A tool with three pins arranged in a row that three pinholes arranged in a row such as those found on a motor controller could easily connect to and disconnect from, that, when connected to a motor controller, identifies which of the three wires is positively charged, and whether the voltage difference is above 9 volts. Should one of the outer two wires be positively charged, and consequently not the middle one, or should the voltage difference be greater than 9 volts, then the motor controller would be faultily wired, consequently breaking any receiver that the motor controller connects to.

WRIST-BAND VOLTAGE DETECTOR
The inventive wrist-band voltage detector provides a wearable device for detecting the presence of AC voltage without interference with work activities. Embodiments of the inventive wrist-band voltage detector include monopole aerials positioned in each side of the wrist band. A thin flexible dielectric layer may sit between the aerials and inside of the wrist band, acting as an electrical barrier between the aerials and the user's wrist. The aerials are connected to conventional voltage detector circuitry on a circuit board located on the top side of the wrist band. The circuit board is grounded to the user's wrist, which enhances the circuitry's ability to detect the presence of nearby AC voltage at a safe distance.
Power detection circuit
A power detection circuit is provided. The power detection circuit includes a comparator circuit operative to generate an output signal in response to an input signal. The output signal is configured to change from a first value to a second value in response to the input signal attaining a first threshold value. The output signal is configured to change from the second value to the first value in response to the input signal subsequently attaining a second threshold value. A current limiting circuit is connected to the comparator circuit and operative to limit a leakage current of the comparator circuit.
AUTOMATED TESTING OF EMERGENCY LIGHTS
The subject disclosure relates to solutions for testing lighting systems and in particular, for verifying lighting system operability in the event of a power failure. A process of the disclosed technology can include steps for receiving an interrupt command, toggling an interrupt relay in response to the interrupt command, and measuring one or more lighting characteristics of the lighting array to determine if the second power supply can power the lighting array. Systems and machine-readable media are also provided.
