DEVICE AND METHOD FOR MEASURING ABSORBENT HYGIENE PRODUCTS
A device for measuring absorbent bodies that are spaced from each other on a continuous web comprises at least two microwave resonators configured to measure values of a shift of a resonance frequency and a spreading of a resonance frequency. The continuous web moves through the at least two microwave resonators and the at least two microwave resonators are positioned at an offset with respect to each other in the transverse and transport direction relative to a direction of transport of the continuous web in order to measure the entire width of the continuous web. At least one of a moisture and a density of the absorbent bodies is determined using the at least two microwave resonators to continuously determine the values of the shift of the resonance frequency and the spreading of the resonance frequency.
Proximity Detection
In certain embodiments, an apparatus includes a sensing element having a capacitance to a first reference voltage. The capacitance is variable as a function of a proximity of an object to the sensing element. The apparatus further includes a sample capacitor connected to the sensing element and control circuitry connected to the sample capacitor. The control circuitry is configured to supply a charge to the sample capacitor and the sensing element and discharge the sensing element. The control circuitry is further configured to provide, in response to the discharge of the sensing element, a signal indicative of the capacitance to the first reference voltage of the sensing element. The control circuitry is further configured to process the signal to detect a change in the capacitance to the first reference voltage as indicative of the proximity of the object to the sensing element.

Multi-level RF pulse monitoring and RF pulsing parameter optimization at a manufacturing system
Methods and systems for RF pulse monitoring and RF pulsing parameter optimization at a manufacturing system are provided. A radio frequency (RF) signal is pulsed within a processing chamber in accordance with a set of process parameters. Sensor data is received from one or more sensors that indicates a RF pulse waveform detected within the processing chamber. One or more RF signal characteristics are identified in the detected RF pulse waveform. Each identified RF signal characteristic corresponds to at least one RF signal pulse of the RF signal pulsing within the processing chamber. A determination is made, based on the identified one or more RF signal characteristics, whether the detected RF pulse waveform corresponds to the target RF pulse waveform. An indication of whether the detected RF pulse waveform corresponds to the target RF pulse waveform is provided to a client device.

A first output electrode of the voltage source is connected to both a first electrode of the high frequency connector and a first input electrode of the voltage meter over the reference impedance, and a second output electrode of the voltage source is connected to both a second electrode of the high frequency connector and a second input electrode of the voltage meter.
DEVICE FOR ELECTRIC AND MAGNETIC MEASUREMENTS
Device for electric and magnetic measurements. In some embodiments, an electrical probe can be configured to include an unshielded inner conductor at an end of a coaxial assembly to allow an electrical field to induce differential-mode currents in the coaxial assembly. In some embodiments, a magnetic probe can be configured to include a loop connected to inner and outer conductors of a coaxial assembly to induce a common mode current by a change in magnetic field flux through the loop. In some implementations, such probes can be utilized to obtain near-field measurements to facilitate applications such as electromagnetic (EM) shielding designs.
