A portable adjustable chair is disclosed comprising a seating area for receiving a person having a front portion and a back portion. A front support connected to the front portion of the seating area for supporting the front portion of the seating area is also provided and a back support connected to the back portion of the seating area for supporting the back portion of the seating area. The chair also has a fulcrum member allowing movement of the back support and removing support for the back portion of the seating area provided by the back support while allowing the front support to support the front portion of the seating area and a support member connected to the seating area to support the back portion of the seating area when the back support is not supporting the back portion of the seating area.

A portable adjustable chair is disclosed comprising a seating area for receiving a person having a front portion and a back portion. A front support connected to the front portion of the seating area for supporting the front portion of the seating area is also provided and a back support connected to the back portion of the seating area for supporting the back portion of the seating area. The chair also has a fulcrum member allowing movement of the back support and removing support for the back portion of the seating area provided by the back support while allowing the front support to support the front portion of the seating area and a support member connected to the seating area to support the back portion of the seating area when the back support is not supporting the back portion of the seating area.

A carrying device and a folding method thereof are disclosed. The carrying device includes a seat assembly, a front-leg assembly and a rear-leg assembly. The front-leg assembly includes an upper frame, a lower frame, a first transmission member and a second transmission member. The upper frame is disposed at the lower frame. The first transmission member is disposed at the upper frame and corresponded to the second transmission member. The rear-leg assembly disposed at the lower frame includes a third transmission member disposed corresponding to the second transmission member, a rear-leg frame, and a connector connecting the rear-leg frame with the lower frame. When the upper frame moves relative to the lower frame, the first transmission member drives the third transmission member to move by the second transmission member to link the connector to make the rear-leg frame approach or move away from the lower frame.

Collapsible holder for folding chair is set in a chair arm and the 3-D chair arm plane. The holder holds a cup or a cell phone (shape dependent, round or rectangular). The holder has a moveable member and a stationary member. The moveable member has a bottom plate, two or more upstanding legs and the legs have tabs. The stationary member has an upper lip, side wall(s) and retainers for the legs. The legs slidably move in the stationary member retainers such that in a collapsed mode, the bottom plate is closest to the lip and the holder is encased in the 3-D chair arm plane and, in the expanded mode when the tab acts as a stop against the retainer and the bottom plate is farthest away from the top surface of the chair arm and the lip, thereby enabled to hold a cup or cell phone.

The holder has a moveable member and a stationary member. The moveable member has a bottom plate, two or more upstanding legs and the legs have tabs. A folding chair comprising: a first structure including a pair of front legs and a backrest, a second structure including a pair of rear legs movable with respect to the first structure between an open position and a closed position, and a seat movable about an articulation axis between a lowered position and a raised position, wherein the seat comprises: a support frame pivoting about said articulation axis between a lowered position and a raised position, a seating element movable with respect to the support frame along a direction transverse with respect to said articulation axis, and at least one transmission mechanism configured to move the seating element along said direction between a first position corresponding to the lowered position of the support frame and a second position corresponding to the raised position of the support frame.

A folding chair comprising: a first structure including a pair of front legs and a backrest, a second structure including a pair of rear legs movable with respect to the first structure between an open position and a closed position, and a seat movable about an articulation axis between a lowered position and a raised position, wherein the seat comprises: a support frame pivoting about said articulation axis between a lowered position and a raised position, a seating element movable with respect to the support frame along a direction transverse with respect to said articulation axis, and at least one transmission mechanism configured to move the seating element along said direction between a first position corresponding to the lowered position of the support frame and a second position corresponding to the raised position of the support frame.

A portable chair may include a first front leg and a second front leg connected by a front sled and a first back leg and a second back leg connected by a back sled. The front sled may include a first front foot and a second front foot and the back sled may include a first back foot and a second back foot. Each of the feet attached to the front and back sleds may include retention feature holes configured to allow water to drain from the sled/foot interface. The portable chair may further include a seat including a seat frame border including a plurality of protrusions. The seat frame border may be rigidly attached to the seat via an injection molding process. In addition, the portable chair may have a cup holder assembly that can detachably attach to either of the front legs of the chair. The cup holder assembly may have a cup holder portion that can rotate relative to the clamp member to be able to mount to either leg. The cup holder can also rotate around either of the legs without being removed when the chair is in a folded configuration to make it easier to carry the chair.
