The present disclosure discloses a folding chair comprising a seat plate, a back plate, two front legs, and two rear legs. Each of the two front legs is connected with a joint. The joint is disposed between the back plate and the seat plate, and the joint extends rearward to form an extension portion. A rear end of the extension portion is rotatably connected to a top end of a corresponding one of the two rear legs, and a barrier extends from a rear edge of each of the two front legs or a front edge of each of the two rear legs. When the folding chair is folded, the barrier separates each of the two front legs from a corresponding one of the two rear legs and provides an accommodation space for fingers between each of the two front legs and the corresponding one of the two rear legs.

A folding chair includes front and rear supports that fold and/or retract into central beams to reduce the space occupied by the chair in a folded configuration. A backrest is coupled to the central beams with a hub that allows an angle of the backrest relative to the central beams to be selected and for the backrest to be folded flat relative to the central beams. The system also includes at least one multifunctional wheeled chair that includes, in addition to the configurations of the multifunctional folding chairs, a partially folded configuration of a wheeled cart. A carrying device and a folding method thereof are disclosed. The carrying device includes a seat assembly, a front-leg assembly and a rear-leg assembly. The front-leg assembly includes an upper frame, a lower frame, a first transmission member and a second transmission member. The upper frame is disposed at the lower frame. The first transmission member is disposed at the upper frame and corresponded to the second transmission member. The rear-leg assembly disposed at the lower frame includes a third transmission member disposed corresponding to the second transmission member, a rear-leg frame, and a connector connecting the rear-leg frame with the lower frame. When the upper frame moves relative to the lower frame, the first transmission member drives the third transmission member to move by the second transmission member to link the connector to make the rear-leg frame approach or move away from the lower frame.

A multifunctional folding chair that may be used by spectators at many types of events, including sporting events, camping, tailgating, and the like. The folding chair may include height adjustable legs that allow the seat to be used on uneven surfaces and to be adjustable for various users (e.g., for children and adults). The height adjustable legs may be capable of being secured substantially flush with the base of the seat when not needed (e.g., when used on bleachers).
