SENSOR CONNECTING UNIT, SAFETY SYSTEM AND ELEVATOR
A sensor connecting unit includes a safety input for connecting with a sensor; a power supply that is controllable through a controllable power switch; and a first I/O processing unit and a second I/O processing unit being connected to each other through a reciprocal comparison communication channel. The first I/O processing unit and the second I/O processing unit are both connected through a measurement circuit to measure voltage, current or power between a reference input and the safety input, and connected to a safety bus. The first I/O processing unit informs the second I/O processing unit about switching off of the controllable power supply, the second I/O processing unit commands the first I/O processing unit to switch off the controllable power supply, and/or the second I/O processing unit measures an output of the controllable power switch to detect switching of the power switch.
Processor device for processing signals in an electrical installation
A signal processor device comprising: first input means intended to be connected, via a measurement sensor, to a high-voltage signal of an electrical installation; and processor means for analyzing the signal measured by said sensor; the device further comprising: changeover means that are configured to cause the operation of the device to change between a test mode in which the device is disconnected from said high-voltage signal so as to be connected to a test signal, and an operating mode in which the device is disconnected from said test signal so as to be reconnected to said high-voltage signal; and second input means that are connected to said processor means, said processor means being configured to actuate said changeover means so that the device operates in test mode or in operating mode depending on whether the second input means are activated or de-activated respectively.
Protection apparatus and method of verifying operation thereof
A method of verifying a protection apparatus is provided. The method includes: setting a plurality of relay elements for sensing an abnormal state of the protection apparatus; receiving an input regarding test information for testing each of the plurality of relay elements; and when at least one of the plurality of relay elements is in an abnormal state from the reception of the input regarding the test information, identifying whether the protection apparatus has created an abnormal state sensing signal.
Distributed Test Method Applicable to System-Level Test of Intelligent High Voltage Equipment
A distributed test method applicable to a system-level test of intelligent high voltage equipment. The method includes: firstly, carrying out unified modeling on test equipment behaviors according to test requirements, and generating a general test case for ensuring accuracy and coordination of test behaviors and test time sequences under various work conditions; then, extracting, according to a feature element of role defining, sequence states of same roles from the general test case, and recombining the sequence states according to an execution sequence so as to form test sub-cases of the roles; finally, executing, by each piece of test equipment, corresponding test sub-cases to achieve cooperative linkage by means of information interaction, so as to accomplish entire process simulation of the test conditions.
COMPONENT MONITORING SYSTEM WITH MONITORY LATCH ASSEMBLY
A monitoring latch assembly structured to monitor circuit breaker assembly operating mechanism component characteristics is provided. The monitoring latch assembly includes a latch member and a sensor assembly. The latch member includes a body. The latch member body defines a pocket. The sensor assembly is disposed in the latch member body pocket.
Dual ground breaker testing system
A system for testing substation circuit breakers while the circuit breakers are grounded on both sides using a ground clamp probe electrically connected to one side of the circuit breaker contacts, where the ground clamp probe provides a means of interfacing standard test equipment to the circuit breaker without removing either safety ground, and analyzing the circuit breaker and outputting the results to a technician on a display.
Monitoring, Control and Protection System for Electrical Conductor Using Rogowski Coil and Capacitive Voltage Divider Integrated into a Compact Unit
A device for protecting, controlling, and monitoring insulated conductors comprising use of a Rogowski coil surrounding the conductor and a capacitive or similar voltage-like divider, also surrounding the conductor and connected thereto and to ground, and providing analog signals from those devices to an integrated circuit for conversion by look up tables on the integrated circuit to digital signals and then transmitting as output the digital signals to a data collector and memory device where the same are optionally time stamped and compared to one another, to a standard or to themselves at a different time for providing a mechanical, electrical or electronic signal.
Gas density relay with online self-checking function, and checking method therefor
The application provides a gas density relay with online self-check function and its check method, which are used for high voltage and medium-voltage electrical equipment. The gas density relay includes a gas density relay body, a first pressure sensor, a temperature sensor, a force measuring sensor, a driving contact action mechanism and an intelligent control unit. The driving contact action mechanism is configured to directly or indirectly drive the signal action mechanism of the gas density relay body to displacement, so that the gas density relay body will have contact signal action. The intelligent control unit will detect the alarm and/or blocking contact signal action value and/or return value of the gas density relay body according to the density value when the contact acts. Checking the gas density relay can be completed without maintainer coming to the site, which improves the reliability of the power grid, improves the efficiency, reduces the operation and maintenance cost, and can implement the maintenance free of the gas density relay.
Terminal sensor array
An apparatus having a conducting probe configured to couple with an electrical conductor of an electrical terminal. The apparatus has a sensor in contact with the conducting probe. The apparatus has a controller electrically coupled to the sensor, where the controller is configured to monitor the sensor values, and when the sensor values comply with a monitoring rule associated with a hazardous condition, the controller is configured to initiate an action to mitigate the hazardous condition.
