Line verification device, and line verification method

Connection normality check of a pair of electric wires is simplified. A circuit check device 1 that checks connection normality of a pair of electric wires L1 and L2 includes, when the pair of electric wires is connected to an exchange 2, a voltmeter 11 that measures a first inter-wire potential difference between one end of an electric wire portion p1 of the electric wire L1 and one end of an electric wire portion p2 of the electric wire L2, a voltmeter 12 that measures a second inter-wire potential difference between the other end of the electric wire portion p1 of the electric wire L1 and the other end of the electric wire portion p2 of the electric wire L2, and a determiner 13 that determines whether the measured first inter-wire potential difference agrees with the measured second inter-wire potential difference.

DETECTING BIT LINE OPEN CIRCUITS AND SHORT CIRCUITS IN MEMORY DEVICE WITH MEMORY DIE BONDED TO CONTROL DIE
20230061265 · 2023-03-02 · ·

Apparatuses and techniques are presented for detecting bit line open circuits and short circuits in a memory device in which a memory die is inverted and bonded to a control die. In one approach, the control die comprises a set of bit lines which are connected to a set of bit lines of the memory die, and the set of bit lines of the control die comprise ground transistors, e.g., transistors connected to a ground node. Ground transistors of even-numbered bit lines may be commonly controlled, while ground transistors of odd-numbered bit lines are commonly controlled. The ground transistors may be controlled to detect open circuits and short circuits in the bit lines of the control die and the memory die. A laser scanning technique can also be used to determine a physical location of a defect of a bit line.

Ground monitor with smart frequency selection

An apparatus for smart frequency selection in a ground monitor apparatus is disclosed. The apparatus includes an energy measurement circuit that measures an energy level at a test frequency in an equipment grounding conductor between a load and a power source and an energy comparator that compares the measured energy level with an energy threshold. The apparatus includes a continuity signal circuit that injects a continuity signal with a frequency at the test frequency in the equipment grounding conductor at an energy level above the energy threshold in response to the energy comparator determining that the measured energy level is below the energy threshold. The continuity signal is an indicator for continuity of the equipment grounding conductor between the power source and load.
