STOOL
A stool and a plurality of coverings which are held to a top of the stool via a retaining member are disclosed. In some embodiments, the stool includes a top and a base, the plurality of coverings being held to the top of the stool via the retaining member. The retaining member may be attached to the base and/or top via biasing members that pull the retaining member toward the top of the stool. The coverings include an opening through which the retaining member is passable.
ASSEMBLY STRUCTURE OF CHAIR
An assembly structure of a chair includes: a chair frame having a front bar, a rear bar, a first side bar and a second side bar; and a chair seat detachably assembled with the chair frame and having a seat portion, a front engaging portion disposed at a front end of the seat portion to engage with the front bar, a rear engaging portion disposed at a rear end of the seat portion to engage with the rear bar, a first abutting portion disposed at one side of the seat portion to engage with and abut against the first side bar, and a second abutting portion disposed at another side of the seat portion to engage with and abut against the second side bar.
Mesh hook surface fastener, production method therefor, and production method for surface fastener-attached molded body
A mesh hook surface fastener does not lose engagement ability even when subjected to mold-in forming and gives only a slight feeling of something foreign. The mesh hook surface fastener contains first shape holding ribs (a.sub.21) with a relatively small protrusion height and second shape holding ribs (a.sub.22) with a relatively large protrusion height which protrude to the opposite side of hook-shaped engagement elements (B.sub.1, B.sub.2) across a base layer (A.sub.1) and are alternately arranged. The heights of the adjacent shape holding ribs (a.sub.21, a.sub.22) are different, which prevents the direct entrance of a foamable resin liquid and weakens its force. As the force weakens, foaming and curing progress more readily and, as a result, the amount of the foamable resin liquid that passes through meshes of the base layer to reach the hook-shaped engagement elements can be reduced.
System for supporting a human body or a human body segment
A system for supporting the human body or a human body segment is provided. The system comprises a base element having a substantially flat shape, and one or more pluralities of shaped modular elements. The base element is flexible, so that it can be brought from an operating, extended configuration to a non-operating, folded configuration. The support system comprises one or more stiffening elements, which are designed in such a way that, on the one hand, they provide the correct stiffness to the backrest when in the operating configuration, and, on the other hand, they do not prevent the possibility of folding the backrest when in the non-operating configuration. The support system can, for example, be made in the form of a seat, a backrest, a mattress, or the like.
Textile clip
Presented is a releasable clip assembly operable to secure a cushion to a supporting surface, the assembly having a male component which is received in a first axis in a chassis of a female component. The clip assembly also has one or more engagement elements configurable into an open configuration to admit the male component and operable to return to a closed configuration to engage the received male component to secure it in the chassis, and one or more release elements operable when actuated transversely to the first axis to allow the engagement elements to be configured in the open configuration to release the male component.
SPINAL ALIGNMENT METHOD FOR SEATED POSTURE AND ASSOCIATED APPARATUS
An apparatus for improving sitting posture has a pair of cushion members and a belt or strap connected to the cushion members for attaching the cushion members to a seat back at spaced locations thereon. The device is attached to a seat back so that the cushion members are positioned along or proximate respective vertical edges of the seat back, are spaced from one another and are located at substantially the same height or vertical distance from a horizontal buttocks support member attached to the seat back.
SEAT CUSHION
A seat cushion according to the present invention is configured as a fluid or gas containing bag. When weight of buttocks are transferred back and forth in left, right, front, rear directions, the fluid or gas contained therein will be transferred back and forth. The level of the fluid or gas contained in the seat cushion is defined by the manufacturer which is 5-40 millimeters. The fluid or gas is detained inside in use. The seat cushion can be laid on cushion of different seats and on the floor.
A POSTURE DEVICE
Disclosed is a posture device configured to provide a support surface for a user. The device comprises a body, the body having a front end and a rear end, and an upper surface between the front and rear ends, the upper surface providing the support surface, the body being constructed from a resilient material, such that in use, the material generates a resilient return force in response to the user's weight, said resilient return force encouraging a posture in which the user's pelvis is neutral or slightly anteriorly tilted.
Extension lumbar support pads for office chair
A lumbar support assembly for an office chair is presented herein. The lumbar support assembly includes at least one extension pad assembly which may be mounted to an existing lumbar support structure of an office chair. The extension pad assembly includes a base and a pad, wherein the base includes a recessed mounting structure disposed one side thereof. The recessed mounting structure is defined by a recessed surface at least partially surrounded by a retention wall, with the pad mounted to the opposite side of the base. One or more mounting clips extend from the retaining wall allowing the existing lumbar support structure to be snapped and engaged therein. With the extension pad assembly mounted in this manner, additional pressure and support can be added to the lumbar region of an individual seated in the chair.
Cushion for alleviating pain
A cushion (10) device comprising: a planar support member (20) formed from a resilient material which defines a front (22), rear (24, 64) and two side portions (26) of the support member (20), wherein a recess (40) is provided at the rear (24, 64) portion of the support member (20) at a mid-position between the two side portions (26), and wherein the support member (20) includes two opposing wing members (42) extending laterally into the recess (40) towards the mid-position.
