LEASH NOTIFICATION FOR TRACKING DEVICE
The communication between a tracking device and a secondary device that tracks the tracking device can be severed. On detecting a loss of connection, the secondary device retrieves a last known location of the tracking device from the tracking server. On receiving the last known location, the secondary device activates location detection functionality to determine a current location of the secondary device. If the current location is further than a predetermined threshold distance from the last known location of the tracking device, a notification is displayed by the secondary device indicating that the connection to the tracking device is lost. If the secondary device is within the predetermined threshold distance from the tracking device's last known location, the secondary device waits for a predetermined interval of time to elapse, and if the tracking device is not detected during this interval, a notification is displayed by the secondary device.

BUILDING DESIGN INFORMATION BASED INDOOR POSITIONING SYSTEM
An indoor positioning system based on building design information is disclosed. The system includes a server computer to provide indoor position information relating to a building, a plurality of beacons to be installed in selected locations in the building and to broadcast by each beacon an indoor position message indicating the indoor position of the beacon, and an installer to configure the beacons with their corresponding indoor position information. An indoor positioning system development system is also provided. The development system incorporates building information files and provides a development interface for users to determine respective locations to install the beacons. Once completed, the obtained results are converted into an indoor position message for each beacon and configured in the corresponding beacon.
Mobile apparatus for generating beacon signal and service method using the same
A method of a beacon transmitting a beacon signal is provided. The method including, receiving, by the beacon including a processor, authentication-related information of the device from a server, broadcasting a beacon signal generated based on the authentication-related information, and when a receiver located at an arbitrary location receives the generated beacon signal, receiving beacon service information corresponding to information about the receiver from the server.
Method of estimating the position of a user device using radio beacons and radio beacons adapted to facilitate the methods of the invention
Disclosed is the estimation of the position of a user device (18) using radio beacons (B1-B4) which are operable at a plurality of transmit power levels. The radio beacons (B1-B4) may transmit their position and current transmit power level. Estimates of distance between a user device and a radio beacon can take into account both received signal strength and the current transmit power level of the radio beacon. The position of the user device (18) can be estimated taking into account whether a radio beacon (B1-B4)) can be detected at a given transmit power level. The transmit power level of the radio beacon may vary according to a cycle. The transmit power level of the radio beacon may be changed to facilitate positioning, for example in response to a signal from a user device. A radio beacon (B1-B4) changes transmit power level in a cycle. The radio beacon can reduce transmit power level responsive to a signal. The radio beacon (B1-B4) may be compatible with Bluetooth short range wireless connectivity standard core specification version 4.0.

Automatic detection for abnormal movement of passenger in elevator
A movement detection system for a passenger in the present invention includes: a first Bluetooth module (150) mounted in an elevator landing area; and a movement prediction unit (270) configured to predict, based on Bluetooth movement data, that a movement of a passenger in the elevator landing area is a normal movement or an abnormal movement. The movement detection system and a movement detection method in the present invention can automatically detect an abnormal movement of a passenger, and are especially applicable to an elevator system that completes an elevator call operation without an input operation.
