Techniques for positioning a bandwidth-limited user equipment (UE) are provided. An example method of positioning performed by a bandwidth-limited UE according to the disclosure includes receiving a first timing measurement signal from at least one proximate UE, wherein the at least one proximate UE is capable of using more bandwidth than the bandwidth-limited UE, and transmitting a second timing measurement signal to the at least one proximate user equipment.

A positioning method, device, system, terminal, and a non-transitory computer-readable storage medium are disclosed. The positioning method may include: continuously and at intervals sending broadcast packets including at least RSU location information and message sending time to the vehicle-to-everything (V2X) apparatus (100) through at least 3 road side units (RSUs) (RSU1, RSU2, RSU3) with fixed locations; when the positioning system of the V2X apparatus (100) is abnormal, by using the information in the broadcast packets and the information at the time before the abnormality of the positioning system of the V2X apparatus (100), calculating and obtaining the location information of the V2X apparatus (100) in real time.

The present disclosure relates to a method and apparatus of transmitting control information for sidelink positioning. The method of transmitting control information for sidelink positioning in an NR-V2X communication system according to one aspect may comprise the steps of: determining at least one transmission slot for transmission of first positioning sidelink control information (PSCI) and second PSCI; determining at least one physical channel for transmission of the first PSCI and the second PSCI; mapping the first PSCI and the second PSCI to the determined at least one transmission slot and the determined at least one physical channel; and transmitting the mapped first PSCI and the second PSCI. The apparatus is capable of communicating with at least one of another apparatus, a user equipment (UE) related to an autonomous driving vehicle, a base station (BS) or a network.
Establishing a direct communication link with another vehicle in the vicinity of a motor vehicle
A communication link is established from a motor vehicle to an other vehicle in the vicinity of the motor vehicle by receiving configuration data from the other vehicle, and determining a relative position of the other vehicle relative to the motor vehicle. A virtual display, which indicates the other vehicle as a possible communication partner, is provided for a user of the motor vehicle by at least partially using the relative position of the other vehicle and the configuration data. A communication command is received from the user, by which the other vehicle is selected as the communication partner. A direct communication link is then established with the other vehicle having been selected as the communication partner.

DISTANCE-LIMITED SIDELINK-BASED POSITIONING
Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In a wireless communications system, one or more user equipments (UEs) may implement distance-limited sidelink-based ranging techniques. An initiating UE may transmit one or more positioning reference signal (PRS) request messages to one or more target UEs via a sidelink channel. In some cases, the initiating UE may receive one or more response messages from at least one target UE that is located within a threshold distance from the initiating UE. In some examples, based on receiving the one or more response messages, the initiating UE may transmit PRSs to each target UE that transmitted a response message.
METHODS FOR COMMUNICATION, TERMINAL DEVICE, NETWORK DEVICE, AND COMPUTER READABLE MEDIA
Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a solution for location determining and reporting of a terminal device and a mobility measurement report based on a location of a terminal device. In a method for communication, a first terminal device incapable of using a satellite positioning system receives, from a second terminal device capable of using the satellite positioning system, a first message indicating a first time point of the satellite positioning system when the first message is transmitted. The first terminal device transmits, to the second terminal device, a responsive message to the first message after a predefined delay from receiving the first message. The first terminal device receives, from the second terminal device, a second message indicating a reference time point of the satellite positioning system when the second message is received by the first terminal device. With the embodiments of the present disclosure, a terminal device incapable of using a satellite positioning system can determine its accurate location and report the location to a network device, so as to optimize the mobility management of the terminal device.

A system and method for communicating data comprises a group of radios intercommunicating data through a channel using a time division multiple access having a plurality of timeslots. The system further comprises a first radio of the group of radios selecting a data communication selection, said first radio communicating a request control signal to a leader radio of the group of radios. When a request control acknowledge signal is received from a leader radio at the first radio, suspending time division multiple access intercommunicating data within the group of radios using the plurality of timeslots and communicating data through the channel.

Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, determining anchor pairs from among a group of anchors and a first mobile device that is operating in an anchor mode, where the determining the anchor pairs is based at least in part on anchor locations, and where the anchor locations are known by the server for the group of anchors and for the first mobile device; generating a schedule for communications between the anchor pairs and one or more second mobile devices; and providing the schedule to the anchor pairs, wherein the communications between the anchor pairs and the one or more second mobile devices enables each of the one or more second mobile devices to determine its respective device position.
