An intelligent assistant records speech spoken by a first user and determines a self-selection score for the first user. The intelligent assistant sends the self-selection score to another intelligent assistant, and receives a remote-selection score for the first user from the other intelligent assistant. The intelligent assistant compares the self-selection score to the remote-selection score. If the self-selection score is greater than the remote-selection score, the intelligent assistant responds to the first user and blocks subsequent responses to all other users until a disengagement metric of the first user exceeds a blocking threshold. If the self-selection score is less than the remote-selection score, the intelligent assistant does not respond to the first user.

A three-dimensional (3D) sound localization method, comprising: evaluating distances between a target object and multiple microphones; distinguishing a quadrant in which the target object is located; evaluating multiple elevation angles and azimuth angles of the target object according to spatial coordinates of each of the microphones; setting searching intervals of distance variables between the target object and each of the microphones; generating multiple test points according to the elevation angles, the azimuth angles and the searching intervals of the distance variables; calculating fitness of each of the test points; obtaining fitness values of each of the test points and comparing the fitness values between each of the test points; and, when a convergence condition is reached according to the fitness values, generating a positioning result of the target object.

The present invention, based on a ray theory model, uses an azimuth angle, a transmission delay, a deep-sea vehicle depth and a depth of an acoustic transducer of a water surface monitoring platform as an eigenray emergence angle, an eigenray transmission time, eigenray emergence depth and an eigenray end point depth respectively, quickly calculates an eigenray that connects the water surface monitoring platform with the deep-sea vehicle, accurately calculates a position of the deep-sea vehicle relative to the water surface monitoring platform, and converts the position into absolute position information of the deep-sea vehicle through the latitude and longitude of the water surface monitoring platform, thereby achieving real-time high-precision positioning.
