Chair Seat Device
A chair seat device includes a lower seat and an upper seat softer than the lower seat and permitting restitution when compressed. The upper seat includes a top board having front and rear lower edges coupled with front and rear lower edges of the lower seat. Two openings are formed in left and right sides of the coupled upper and lower seats. At least one elastic element is coupled to the lower seat and includes an upper supporting portion shorter than the upper seat. The upper supporting portion includes front and rear arcuate portions having front and rear end portions coupled with the lower seat. The front arcuate portion is spaced from the front upper edge by a front spacing. The rear arcuate portion is spaced from the rear upper edge by a rear spacing. The front and rear spacings permit elastic deformation of the at least one elastic element.

Chair assemblies, modular components for use within chair assemblies, and parts for use within the modular components
Chair assemblies (e.g., rocker style chairs, fixed position chairs, chairs with pivoting seats, tables and trays, a sub-combination thereof, or a combination thereof) are provided. More particularly, chair assemblies (e.g., rocker style chairs, fixed position chairs, chairs with pivoting seats, tables and trays, a sub-combination thereof, or a combination thereof), modular components for use within the chairs, parts for use within the modular components and related manufacturing and installation methods are provided.
Vehicle seat
In a vehicle seat, a frame member includes left and right side frames which are disposed separately from each other in a lateral direction, and a pair of connecting frames which are disposed separately from each other in a perpendicular direction perpendicular to the lateral direction and by which the left and right side frames are connected; left and right first bridging wires are disposed separately from each other in the lateral direction and the pair of connecting frames are bridged by the left and right first bridging wires. Each of the left and right first bridging wires includes an extension portion extending in the perpendicular direction and a bent in portion so bent as to protrude laterally outward relative to the extension portion. The bent portion is located on an occupant side with respect to a plane extending through the extension portions of the left and right first bridging wires.
Seat suspension system
The present invention is a seat bottom suspension system adapted to provide a varying spring constant. An embodiment includes a first plurality of generally flat elongated biasing members in communication with an axle adapted to translate in a direction generally parallel with the longitudinal axis of the biasing members. An embodiment may include a second set of flat elongated biasing members set at a lower height than the first plurality of flat elongated biasing members to provide a progressive increase in the spring constant as the down force seen on the seat increases.
Top-loaded seat cushion system
A seat assembly includes a wire frame assembly having a support frame with at least one side rail and one or more engagement features. A cushion support assembly is overmolded to a portion of the wire frame assembly. The side rail of the wire frame assembly includes an exposed portion that is not covered by the cushion support assembly. The one or more engagement features of the wire frame assembly extend outwardly from a bottom surface of the cushion support assembly. A trim panel includes one or more clip members that releasably couple to the side rail of the wire frame assembly. At least one support plate includes receiving apertures disposed therethrough to receive the one or more engagement features of the wire frame assembly in a vertical manner.

SEAT
Provided is a seat which includes: a cushion frame including left and right side frames located separately from each other in a lateral direction, and front and rear cross members by which the left and right side frame are connected; left and right second supporting wires located separately from each other in a lateral direction and laid to connect the front and rear cross members; and left and right side supporting members made of plastic and formed integrally with the second supporting wires. The side supporting members have engagement portions which are engaged with the side frames.
