Drone threat assessment

A system for providing integrated detection and deterrence against an unmanned vehicle including but not limited to aerial technology unmanned systems using a detection element, a tracking element, an identification element and an interdiction or deterrent element. Elements contain sensors that observe real time quantifiable data regarding the object of interest to create an assessment of risk or threat to a protected area of interest. This assessment may be based e.g., on data mining of internal and external data sources. The deterrent element selects from a variable menu of possible deterrent actions. Though designed for autonomous action, a Human in the Loop may override the automated system solutions.

ELECTRONIC WARFARE ASSET MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

An electronic warfare asset management system allows for pre-mission planning and ranking of emitter targets within a theater of operations while further allowing real-time adjustments to the emitter rankings. The asset management system may further evaluate and optimize asset architecture to allow multiple assets to work in parallel to increase the probability of intercept for any specific target emitter.

Embodiments of the present invention relate to a chaff electronic countermeasure device for protecting mobile platforms against radio frequency threats. A device comprises an antenna that is in communication with a substrate. An integrated circuit is in electrical communication with the antenna. The device is configured to absorb from a source a first radio frequency having a first amplitude. In response to absorbing the first radio frequency, the device reradiates at least a portion of a second radio frequency having a second amplitude toward the radar source, which results in an increased radar cross section of the device as perceived by the radar source. The second amplitude is higher than the first amplitude.

Apparatus and method for generating jamming signal

An apparatus for generating a jamming signal comprises a signal receiving unit configured to receive an external pulse signal, an amplitude signal generating unit configured to generate an amplified signal by amplifying the pulse signal, a noise signal generating unit configured to generate a noise signal having a bandwidth including a bandwidth of the pulse signal, a control unit configured to control the amplified signal generating unit and the noise signal generating unit such that a signal-to-noise ratio of the amplified signal and the noise signal to be received by an apparatus that has transmitted the pulse signal becomes constant based on characteristics of the pulse signal and a signal radiating unit configured to radiate the amplified signal and the noise signal.

System and methods for countering satellite-navigated munitions

A defense system that receives information regarding an incoming object(s), then automatically coordinates spoofing or jamming of SATNAV signals potentially used by the incoming object(s) while also informing friendly systems of the spoofing or jamming of SATNAV signal.

Provided is a technique capable of moving a mobile body to an appropriate position and eliminating the mobile body. This mobile body control system is provided with: a false signal generation unit that generates a false signal for calculating a position different from the actual position of the mobile body on the basis of signal code information which the mobile body has received to calculate the position thereof; and a false signal transmission unit that transmits the generated false signal into a prescribed region.

Apparatus and method of selecting sources of illumination to be jammed for passive radar jamming

This application relates to a method for selecting sources of illumination to jam, performed by an apparatus of selecting sources of illumination to jam for passive radar jamming. The method may include, predicting sources of illumination used by a virtual passive radar of interest disposed within a jamming range with respect to the location of a passive radar jammer. The method may also include selecting sources of illumination as candidates for jamming if the signal strength of a target reflection signal received by the virtual passive radar of interest from the sources of illumination is equal to or greater than an acceptable received signal strength. The method may further include picking out which sources of illumination to jam from the sources of illumination selected as candidates for jamming, based on how frequently the virtual passive radar of interest uses each of the selected candidates for jamming.
