TEXTILE DECK ASSEMBLY FOR FURNITURE ITEMS
A textile deck assembly, method of fabricating, and method of installing onto a seat frame assembly. The textile deck assembly includes a platform portion and a plurality of straps coupled to a rearward edge of the platform portion. The materials of the textile deck assembly are matched so that the plurality of straps undergoes most or all of the elongation under load (e.g., when a person sits thereon), while the platform portion, even though it is flexible and compliant, is stretch resistant and undergoes little or no stretching under load. A battery of durability tests were performed on the textile deck assembly, including deflection testing, fatigue testing, and drop testing, and compared with conventional seat decks that utilize sinuous springs. The durability of the textile deck assembly to was found to outperform conventional seat decks.
Load support structure for chair, load support body for chair, and chair
A load support structure for a chair includes a tensile material on which a load support surface configured to receive a load of a seated person is formed, a pair of support sections (51) to which the tensile material is attached, and which is elastically deformable in response to a force acting from the tensile material, a first reinforcing section (41) which is disposed to be spaced apart from the pair of support sections (51) in a surface perpendicular direction perpendicular to the load support surface, is located on a side opposite to the load support surface, and extends along an extending direction of the support section, and a connecting body which connects each of both end portion sides of the support section (51) with a corresponding end portion side of both end portion sides of the first reinforcing section (41), in which the support sections (51) are disposed outside the first reinforcing section (41) in a view of the surface perpendicular direction from the load support surface side.

Office systems with shape memory materials
An office system including a first component and a second component moveable relative to the first component. A distance and/or force multiplier is disposed between and coupled to the first and second components. The distance and/or force multiplier includes a shape memory material, wherein the shape memory material is contractible between at least a non-energized state and an energized state in response to an application of energy. The distance and/or force multiplier moves the second component relative to the first component when the shape memory material is contracted to the energized state.

SUSPENSION ARRANGEMENT FOR A SEAT AND METHOD OF PRODUCING AN ELONGATE SUSPENSION MEMBER FOR A SUSPENSION ARRANGEMENT FOR A SEAT
The present invention relates to a suspension arrangement (20, 120) for a seat comprising a plurality of elongate suspension members (21, 22, 121, 122) of a glass fibre filled plastic. Each elongate suspension member (21, 22, 121, 122) of the plurality of elongate suspension members includes in a longitudinal direction thereof a first end (23, 25, 123, 125) and an opposing second end (24, 26, 124, 126). The elongate suspension member (21, 22, 121, 122) has a meandered shape in the longitudinal direction. The present invention relates furthermore to a method for producing an elongate suspension member (21, 22, 121, 122).
