FISH FINDING DEVICES, SYSTEMS AND METHODS
Fish finding devices, systems and methods, in accordance with the present disclosure comprise a sonar transmitter for transmitting a sonar signal, a sonar receiver for receiving a sonar echo from the reflection of the sonar signal off a marine animal, an underwater camera, a processor for controlling the sonar transmitter, the sonar receiver and the underwater camera, and for processing the sonar echo, and a housing containing the processor and further comprising a display. By combining the forgoing into a single fish finding system, “false positives” are reduced and have the capability of more accurately identifying desired marine animals that are located.
Systems and methods for determining distance in a sonar image
A system for determining distance corresponding to positions within a sonar image is provided. The system includes transducer elements configured to transmit sonar signals into a body of water and receive corresponding sonar returns. The system further includes a device with a processor and a memory including computer program code that is configured to cause the device to receive sonar returns, generate sonar images based on the sonar returns, receive a user input selection indicating a first and second sonar position in the sonar images, determine a first chart location that corresponds to the first sonar position, determine a second chart location that corresponds to the second sonar position, determine a distance between the first and second chart location and cause the distance to be displayed on a user interface. Systems are also included herein for presenting sonar beam indicators on charts for noting the direction of the sonar beam.
Impact detection devices and methods
A impact detection system is provided which includes a user interface comprising a display, processor, and memory. The memory includes computer program code configured to cause an electronic device to receive impact detection data from at least one impact detection device and generate one or more notifications based on the impact detection data.
Underwater detection apparatus and underwater detection method
An underwater detection apparatus is provided, which may include a transmission transducer, a reception transducer, and processing circuitry. The transmission transducer may transmit a transmission wave in an underwater transmission space. The reception transducer may include a plurality of reception elements, each reception element generating a reception signal based on a reflection wave comprising a reflection of the transmission wave on an underwater target. The processing circuitry may perform beamforming in each of a plurality of reception spaces based on the reception signals, generate a 3D image data of the target based on the beamforming performed in each reception space, and extract a contour of the target detected in at least one of the reception spaces, and generate a contour image data to be displayed along with the 3D image data on a display unit.

Ice transducer
A transducer system for locating fish in water beneath ice. A cable coupled with a transducer housing both physically suspends the housing at a selected depth and a selected angular orientation and conveys sonar data to a display unit on the surface. First and second transducers are mounted in the housing and generate the sonar data. The transducers are mounted so as to have different relative angular orientations.

ACOUSTICS AUGMENTATION FOR MONOCULAR DEPTH ESTIMATION
A method of monocular depth estimation includes receiving a plurality of monocular images corresponding to images of fish within a marine enclosure and further receiving acoustic data synchronized in time relative to the plurality of images. The plurality of images and the acoustic data are provided to a convolutional neural network (CNN) for training a monocular depth model. The monocular depth model is trained to generate, based on the received plurality of monocular images and the acoustic data, a distance-from-feeder estimate of a vertical biomass center of fish within the marine enclosure.
