Image module package having glass filter secured by transparent adhesive
There is provided an image module package including a substrate, a photo sensor chip, a molded transparent layer and a glass filter. The substrate has an upper surface. The photo sensor chip is attached to the upper surface of the substrate and electrically connected to the substrate. The molded transparent layer covers the photo sensor chip and a part of the upper surface of the substrate, wherein a top surface of the molded transparent layer is formed with a receptacle opposite to the photo sensor chip. The glass filter is accommodated in the receptacle.
State detection device
A state detection device includes a camera configured to capture an image of an imaging area where a driver is present, a laser configured to emit light toward the imaging area, and an optical member configured to emit the light of the laser with spreading to a predetermined irradiation area.

Trailer safety system and methods of use thereof
The present invention concerns systems, a kit and methods for monitoring coupling of a vehicle and a trailer or a trailer and another trailer. The system includes two sensors associated with a turntable of a towing vehicle, said sensors consisting of: a contact sensor configured to detect when a skid plate of a vehicle to be towed is in contact with the turntable; and a locking sensor configured to detect when the locking mechanism is in a locked configuration. The system further including a controller operatively connected to the two sensors and configured to receive output signals from the contact sensor and the locking sensor and to determine whether safe coupling has been achieved based on the output signals.
METHOD FOR CREATING OCCUPANCY GRID MAP AND PROCESSING APPARATUS
The present disclosure provides a method and an apparatus for creating an occupancy grid map, as well as a processing apparatus. The method includes: creating a current occupancy grid map based on a location of the vehicle and a previous occupancy grid map; and determining a current probability that each grid in the current occupancy grid map belongs to each of occupancy categories based on last environment perception information received from the sensors and updating an occupancy category to which each grid in the current occupancy grid map belongs based on the current probability that the grid belongs to each of the occupancy categories, in accordance with an asynchronous updating policy.
Ladar enabled impact mitigation system
A collision mitigation system makes use of ladar sensors to identify obstacles and to predict unavoidable collisions therewith, and a duplex radio link in communication with secondary vehicles, and a number of external airbags deployable under the control of an airbag control unit, to reduce the forces of impact on the host vehicle, secondary vehicles, and bipeds and quadrupeds wandering into the roadway. A suspension modification system makes use of ladar sensors to identify road hazards, and make adaptations to a number of active suspension components, each with the ability to absorb shock, elevate or lower the vehicle, and adjust the spring rate of the individual wheel suspensions.

Light outputting apparatus and image display system
A light outputting apparatus includes a light source that outputs a first light flux, a collimator that parallelizes the first light flux, a light separator that separates the first light flux into a first partial light flux and a second partial light flux, a first light flux width expander, and a second light flux width expander. The light separator causes the first partial light flux to exit in a first direction and the second partial light flux to exit in a second direction. When a first plane is assumed to be a plane containing the first direction and the second direction, the first light flux width expander expands a width of the first partial light flux in a direction along the first plane, and the second light flux width expander expands a width of the second partial light flux in a direction along the first plane.
