DETECTION METHOD AND DETECTION APPARATUS
The present invention relates to the field of radar detection. Provided are a detection method and a detection apparatus. The method comprises: emitting a first waveform signal to a target to undergo detection, and receiving a second waveform signal reflected by the target on the basis of the first waveform signal, the second waveform signal carrying spatial modulation information; generating, on the basis of the second waveform signal, a detection signal corresponding to the spatial modulation information, and obtaining a signal flight time carried on the detection signal; and determining distance data of the target on the basis of multiple pieces of the spatial modulation information and signal flight times corresponding thereto.
COHERENT LIDAR IMAGING SYSTEM
A coherent LIDAR imaging system includes a laser source; an optical splitter/recombiner designed to split the laser radiation into a reference beam and into an object beam and to superpose the reference beam on a reflected object beam reflected by the scene; and an optical imager creating an image of the scene on a detector. The detector includes an array of pixels designed for detecting the reflected object beam and the reference beam which together form a recombined beam having a beat frequency representative of a range of the illuminated scene. The optical splitter/recombiner is configured to form an intermediate image of the reference beam in an intermediate image plane perpendicular to the optical axis.

RANGING IMAGE SENSOR
In a ranging image sensor, each pixel includes an avalanche multiplication region, a charge distribution region, a pair of first charge transfer regions, a pair of second charge transfer regions, a well region, a photogate electrode, a pair of first transfer gate electrodes, and a pair of second transfer gate electrodes. The first multiplication region of the avalanche multiplication region is formed so as to overlap the charge distribution region and so as not to overlap the well region in the Z direction. The second multiplication region of the avalanche multiplication region is formed so as to overlap the charge distribution region and the well region in the Z direction.

OBSERVATION APPARATUS, OBSERVATION METHOD, AND DISTANCE MEASUREMENT SYSTEM
The present technology relates to an observation apparatus, an observation method, and a distance measurement system capable of improving distance measurement accuracy. A first measurement unit that measures a first number of reactions of a light receiving element in response to incidence of photons on a first pixel, a second measurement unit that measures a second number of reactions of the light receiving element in response to incidence of photons on a second pixel, a light emitting unit that emits light to the second pixel, and a light emission control unit that controls the light emitting unit according to a difference between the first number of reactions and the second number of reactions are included. The present technology can be applied to, for example, a distance measurement apparatus that measures a distance to a predetermined object, and can be applied to an observation apparatus that observes a characteristic of a pixel included in the distance measurement apparatus.
