12259481 · 2025-03-25 · ·

A system and a method are disclosed for enabling seamlessly tracking a location of a water vessel by supplementing satellite data with mobile data location based on proximity of a water vessel to shore. The system receives a Global Positioning System (GPS) location of the water vessel, the GPS location of the water vessel based on using the satellite data of the water vessel. The system determines that the GPS location is within a threshold distance of a boundary. Responsive to determining that the GPS location is within the threshold distance of the boundary, the system initiates monitoring for a mobile signal emanating from a trajectory path of the water vessel. The system detects, during the monitoring, the mobile signal, the tracking the location of the water vessel based on mobile data of the mobile signal. The system provides the tracked location to a monitoring device.

A transmitting device location estimation device, in a transmitting device location estimation device for estimating the location of a transmitting device under water, is characterized by comprising: a distance location estimation unit that estimates the distance and location of the transmitting device based on the time taken to receive the transmission signal transmitted by the transmitting device and the speed of the transmission signal; a direction estimation unit that estimates the direction of the transmitting device; and an estimated location confirmation unit that confirms the estimated location of the transmitting device based on the estimated distance and location of the transmitting device and the estimated direction of the transmitting device.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR VESSEL POSITION REPORTING AND MONITORING

Systems and methods for vessel position reporting and monitoring. Methods and systems for augmenting e-Navigation messages to provide ancillary information, such as a history of previous vessel positions. A compact representation is provided, in which transmitters may select among a plurality of possible position layouts to provide a compact representation. Transmitted messages are received by a satellite or other surveillance platform employing a compatible radio frequency receiver to collect message signals over a large area or great distance.

DEEP-SEA SOUND SOURCE LOCALIZATION METHOD, COMPUTER DEVICE, AND STORAGE MEDIUM

A deep-sea sound source localization method, a computer device and a storage medium. The method includes: deploying at least two underwater gliders in a designated sea area, so as to respectively record a broadband signal which is emitted by a broadband sound source (1); obtaining a waveform envelope of the signal, and then calculating a waveform envelope of a simulated signal (2); performing cross-correlation analysis on the two waveform envelopes (3); and determining an estimated value of a distance from the sound source, and finally obtaining an estimated position of the sound source by means of a geometrical relationship (3). By means of the method, deployment of a large-depth vertical receiving array is not required. The system has low complexity, and is easy to deploy and operate, which can be applied to a relatively large area. In addition, simple data analysis and calculation are performed without the need for manual parameter adjustment, and target localization can be achieved only by knowing an approximate azimuth of movement of a target. Underwater gliders have good maneuverability and can be deployed according to task requirements, thereby achieving target localization and tracking in a relatively large area.
