A radiation imaging apparatus comprises a sensor portion including a pixel array configured to acquire an image signal corresponding to radiation, and a plurality of detection elements arranged in the pixel array and configured to detect the radiation, and a readout circuit configured to read out the image signal from the sensor portion, wherein the readout circuit includes a signal processing circuit arranged to combine and process signals from the plurality of detection elements if determining the presence or absence of radiation irradiation, and to process a signal for each detection element or combine and process signals from a number of detection elements from among the plurality of detection elements, the number being less than the number of detection elements that include the plurality of detection elements, if determining a radiation dose.

A light sealing cover is secured to the printed circuit board such that the silicon photomultiplier and the organic scintillator are encapsulated within the light sealing cover.

A dosimeter includes a housing and a printed circuit board positioned within the housing. A silicon photomultiplier is operably connected to the printed circuit board. A scintillator formed of Ce-activated lithium aluminosilicate glass is positioned on the silicon photomultiplier. An optical coupling is positioned between the scintillator and the silicon photomultiplier, and an optical reflector surrounds the scintillator.

The dose measurement device includes: a radiation sensor constituted by a light emitting portion that is made of a polycrystalline scintillator and emits light of intensity dependent on an amount of incident radiation and a cover covering the light emitting portion; an optical fiber that is connected to the radiation sensor and transmits the photons emitted by the polycrystalline scintillator; a photoelectric converter for converting the photons transmitted by the optical fiber into electrical signals; a calculation device for measuring each of the electrical signals through the conversion by the photoelectric converter of each photon, calculating a count rate, and specifying a dose rate; and a display device for displaying measurement results calculated by the calculation device.

A device for measuring a radiation dose according to the present invention includes a radiation exposure unit which exposes radiation, a frame unit which supports the radiation exposure unit, a measurement housing unit which is mounted on the frame unit, a scintillation unit which is mounted on the measurement housing unit and emits light due to the radiation exposed by the radiation exposure unit, an image capturing unit which captures an image of the scintillation unit, and a dose measuring unit which measures, on the basis of the captured image obtained by the image capturing unit, a dose of radiation to which the scintillation unit is exposed.

A radiation monitor according to the present invention includes: a radiation sensing unit which includes phosphors emitting a photon with respect to an incident radiation; and a photon sending unit which sends the photon emitted from the phosphors of the radiation sensing unit, wherein the phosphors form a multilayer structure including a first phosphor and a second phosphor, and a photon absorbing layer absorbing a photon emitted from a phosphor is provided between the first phosphor and the second phosphor.

The controller corrects a detection signal read out from the detection element by the readout unit during incidence of radiation in a second image sensing operation performed next to a first image sensing operation, based on a correction amount acquired based on a correction signal read out from the detection element by the readout unit after an end of the incidence of the radiation in the first image sensing operation, and detects a dose of incident radiation in the second image sensing operation based on the corrected detection signal.
