Endoscope
Disclosed herein is an endoscope comprising: an insertion tube; a radiation detector configured to detect radiation particles in a first range of energy and radiation particles in a second range of energy.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR MEASURING DISTRIBUTION OF RADIATION DOSE FROM BRACHYTHERAPY RADIATION SOURCE
Disclosed is an apparatus for measuring the distribution of radiation dose emitted from a brachytherapy insertion tool, the apparatus including a housing having defined therein a measurement space in which the brachytherapy insertion tool is located, a fluorescent member disposed at the housing, the fluorescent member being configured to react with radiation emitted to the measurement space and to emit light, a camera disposed in the housing, and a cover coupled to one surface of the housing, the cover being configured to cover the fluorescent member. The portion of the fluorescent member to which radiation from a radiation source of the brachytherapy insertion tool is applied reacts with the radiation and generates light, brightness of the light varies depending on distribution of the radiation, and the position at which the light is bright is calculated to measure the direction in which the brachytherapy insertion tool has no shielding.

X-ray diagnostic apparatus, medical image processing apparatus, and medical image processing method
An X-ray diagnostic apparatus according to an embodiment includes an X-ray tube, an X-ray detector, and processing circuitry. The X-ray tube exposes X-rays. The X-ray detector detects the X-rays exposed from the X-ray tube. The processing circuitry generates an X-ray image on the basis of a first detection result that is a detection result of the X-rays exposed for an irradiation period. The processing circuitry corrects the X-ray image on the basis of a second detection result that is a detection result of the X-rays until a point before the end of the irradiation period.

Collimator
An N-M tomography system comprising: a carrier for the subject of an examination procedure; a plurality of detector heads; a carrier for the detector heads; and a detector positioning arrangement operable to position the detector heads during performance of a scan without interference or collision between adjacent detector heads to establish a variable bore size and configuration for the examination. Additionally, collimated detectors providing variable spatial resolution for SPECT imaging and which can also be used for PET imaging, whereby one set of detectors can be selectably used for either modality, or for both simultaneously.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR THREE-DIMENSIONAL IMAGING
Disclosed herein is a method, comprising: introducing a tracer into a body region of an organism at an introduction site of the organism; causing emission of characteristic X-rays of the tracer in the body region; capturing images of the tracer in the body region with the characteristic X-rays; determining a first three-dimensional (3D) distribution of the tracer in the body region based on the images; and examining the first 3D distribution of the tracer in the body region to identify a sentinel lymph node for the introduction site. If the sentinel lymph node is not identified in the first 3D distribution, the method further comprises repeating said causing, said capturing, and said determining thereby resulting in a second 3D distribution of the tracer in the body region; and examining the second 3D distribution to identify the sentinel lymph node.
Filter System and Method for Imaging a Subject
A method and system is disclosed for acquiring image data of a subject. The image data can be collected using an imaging system with a selected filtering characteristic. The image data can be reconstructed using reconstruction techniques.

SYSTEM AND METHODS FOR MEASURING PATIENT-SPECIFIC EXTRAVASATION DOSIMETRY
A system and method for determining accumulated radiation dose is presented. In some embodiments, the system and method include use of one or more RADFETs to measure and accumulated radiation dose over a desired period of time from an area of interest in a patient. In some embodiments, the one or more RADFETs may be arranged on a test strip, and electrical circuitry provided to selectively couple certain terminals of the RADFETS together to facilitate improved measurement of accumulated dose. A reader may also be utilized wherein the reader may receive a test strip, decouple the electrical connections between select terminals, inject a current into the RADFET and/or measure a voltage from the RADFET corresponding to an accumulated radiation dose.
