Chair having adjustable backrest
A chair includes a seat, a backrest and a frame to support the seat and backrest. The frame includes first and second supports disposed at first and second sides of the chair, respectively. The chair also includes a first engaging mechanism pivotally coupling the backrest with the first support, and a second engaging mechanism pivotally coupling the backrest with the second support. The first or second engaging mechanism includes first, second and third members. The first member fixedly is coupled with the backrest. The second member pivotally connects the first member of the respective engaging mechanism with the first or second support, thereby allowing the backrest to rotate along a first axis in the width direction of the chair. The third member is fixedly coupled with the first or second support and configured to limit the rotation of the backrest.
Controller Chair
A backrest portion supported, such as to be pivotable around an axis extending along its width direction center line, by a base, a left arm holding portion projecting forward from a left side portion of the backrest portion and supported, such as to be pivotable up and down around its base end portion, by the backrest portion, a right arm holding portion projecting forward from a right side portion of the backrest portion and supported, such as to be pivotable up and down around its base end portion, by the backrest portion, a left leg holding portion extending downward from a vicinity of a left side portion of a front edge of a seat portion at a front side of the base and supported, such as to be pivotable up and down around its upper end portion, by the base, and a right leg holding portion extending downward from a vicinity of a right side portion of the front edge of the seat portion at the front side of the base and supported, such as to be pivotable up and down around its upper end portion, by the base are included.
Chair
A chair is provided having at least one leg with an upper end on which a seat component is supported and a backrest interconnected to and projecting from the seat component. The backrest comprises a lower backrest section, an upper backrest section, and a backrest hinge interconnecting the upper backrest section to an upper end of the lower backrest section. The lower backrest section is interconnected to and extends from a rear portion of the seat component and the backrest hinge is configured to permit the upper backrest section to be located in an upright position in which the upper backrest section projects above the lower backrest section and is configured to permit the upper backrest section to be pivoted to a forward position in which the upper backrest section extends laterally over and spaced above the seat component.
Connection assembly for a backrest and office or conference chair
A connection assembly for a backrest, of an office or conference chair, includes a backrest structural element, a transverse support element, a transverse bearing by means of which the backrest structural element is rotatably coupled to the transverse support element in a direction perpendicular to a transverse direction, and a connection portion connecting the transverse support element to the backrest structural element, arranged and formed so that the backrest structural element is resiliently movable relative to the transverse support element.

CHAIR
The invention relates to a chair, in particular an office chair, comprising a seat surface and a laterally pivotable backrest, wherein the backrest is secured to two joints, which have mutually parallel axes of rotation.
Chair
The present invention relates to a chair having a subframe, a seat part supported thereon and having a seat surface and a backrest which is disposed in the region of an edge of the seat part at least approximately perpendicularly to the seat surface and contains a contact surface for the back of a person sitting on the chair, wherein the backrest is designed such that it can pivot laterally about a pivot spindle extending at least approximately perpendicularly to the contact surface of the backrest.
FOLDABLE CHAIR
The invention relates to a foldable chair that comprises a seat (1) and a back (2) available according to at least an angular position in which an angular distance between the same is minimum and another angular position in which the angular distance between the same is maximum; and first rotational means configured to define a first axis of rotation and arranged for a first relative angular movement between the seat (1) and the back (2); in addition to second rotational means configured to define a second axis of rotation and arranged for a second relative angular movement between the seat (1) and the back (2). In accordance with this arrangement, the first rotational means and the second rotational means are arranged independently with respect to one another for independent angular movements of the seat (1) and of the back (2) with respect to one another.
Adjustable seat for a boat
An adjustable seat assembly may have a seat back that is configurable in a fore position or a stern-facing seat, an aft position for a bow-facing seat, and a pillow position which facilitates a user laying down across the stern-facing seat. In addition, the seat back may be placed in a stowed position in which the seat back is absent from both the bow-facing and stern-facing seats, such that the seats cooperate to provide a planar support surface along an aft-to-fore extent of the seat assembly. The seat back may be adjustable by hand without tools, such that a user may easily reconfigure the seat assembly to sit facing the bow, to sit facing the stern, or to lie down.
