PASSENGER SEATING FOOT PEDESTAL
The present disclosure relates to foot pedestals for passenger vehicles. More specifically, the present disclosure describes a deployable foot pedestal that provides support and comfort to a passenger. The foot pedestal includes an internal torsion spring so that it remains stowed and flush with the rear of the seat back when not in use. It can be deployed for use by the passenger using their foot, or hand.
Automated Adjustable Seating System
An automated adjustable seating system (10) comprising: a seat (16), the seat (16) incorporating a first sliding frame (62) and seat upholstery attached to the sliding frame (62); a backrest (20), the backrest (20) incorporating a second sliding frame (138) and back upholstery attached to the sliding frame (138); a set of actuators (106, 128, 194, 196, 198); and a control system (200). The set of actuators (106, 128, 194, 196, 198) includes an actuator for adjusting the angle of the seat (16) relative to the horizontal (194), an actuator (106) for adjusting the longitudinal position of the first sliding frame (62); an actuator (196) for adjusting the angle of the backrest (20) relative to the vertical and an actuator (198) for adjusting the longitudinal position of the second sliding frame (138). Each of the set of actuators (106, 128, 194, 196, 198) is controlled by the control system (200).
Controller chair
A backrest portion supported, such as to be pivotable around an axis extending along its width direction center line, by a base, a left arm holding portion projecting forward from a left side portion of the backrest portion and supported, such as to be pivotable up and down around its base end portion, by the backrest portion, a right arm holding portion projecting forward from a right side portion of the backrest portion and supported, such as to be pivotable up and down around its base end portion, by the backrest portion, a left leg holding portion extending downward from a vicinity of a left side portion of a front edge of a seat portion at a front side of the base and supported, such as to be pivotable up and down around its upper end portion, by the base, and a right leg holding portion extending downward from a vicinity of a right side portion of the front edge of the seat portion at the front side of the base and supported, such as to be pivotable up and down around its upper end portion, by the base are included.
Apparatus for assistance in putting on and removing footwear
Apparatus to facilitate putting on and removing footwear. The apparatus may be swivelably coupled to a chair where handles are provided to rotate an arm which is coupled to a footrest. By moving the arm, which is at seat level, the footrest is movable between a stowed position and an operative, forward position.
Buoyant Pool Lounge Chair Frame and Buoyant Pool Lounge Chair Using the Same
A buoyant pool lounge chair frame and buoyant pool lounge chair using the same are disclosed. In one embodiment of the buoyant pool lounge chair for supporting a person while the buoyant pool chair is floating in water, frame members collectively form an open chair frame including a back frame and leg frame pivotally coupled thereto. Buoyant cushions are attached to the frame members to form a chair seat, a backrest, and a leg rest. A pair of rear pivotal coupling and clutch assemblies are coupled to the seat frame and to the back frame to adjust and fix the angle of recline of the back frame relative to the seat frame. Similarly, a pair of front pivotal coupling and clutch assemblies coupled to the leg frame and to the back frame to adjust and fix the angle of extension of the leg frame relative to the seat frame.
Motorized chair assembly
A motorized chair assembly for reducing floor space occupied by a reclining chair includes a chair that has a seat portion, a backrest portion and a pair of armrests. A foot rest is slidably coupled to the seat portion of the chair. The foot rest is positionable in a deployed position having the foot rest extending forwardly from the seat portion and being oriented parallel to ground for resting feet thereon. The foot rest is positionable in a stored position having the foot rest being retracted within the seat portion. A panel is hingedly coupled to the foot rest. The panel is positionable at a selected angle with respect to the foot rest when the foot rest is deployed wherein the panel is configured to have feet rested thereon.
CHAIR WITH VARIABLE POSITIONING AND SUPPORT
An adjustable chair frame with a back and seating surfaces that flex to conform to the shape, weight and movement of an occupant is disclosed. The chair form and proportions provide for a recumbent position that disperses the weight of the occupant more evenly, thereby reducing external and internal physiological point loading. The form also provides ergonomic articulation to minimize internal physiological stresses such as neck/back vertebral compression. Eccentric connections driven by a motor assembly allow positioning adjustment of the components of the chair. Additionally, an air pump assembly may be included to automatically adjust one or more air bladders provided on the interior of the chair frame.
Methods and apparatus for variable user position seating
A system for seated support. A seat rest may be configured to support the posterior of a user, a leg rest may be configured to support a leg portion of a user, and a combined translate-and-cant reposition carriage may be configured to simultaneously translate and cant the position of the leg rest in relation to the position of the seat rest. The seat rest, leg rest, and combined translate-and-cant reposition carriage may comprise an equipoise balancer for a user. The equipoise balancer may be free-floating, lockable, partially lockable, seat-rest driven, or leg rest driven in various embodiments.
APPARATUS FOR SUPPORT DURING TATTOOING
An apparatus that supports a person in a variety of positions so that a tattoo artist can comfortably apply a tattoo to the skin of the supported person is herein disclosed. The apparatus can be articulated to cause a person's legs and arms to be optimally positioned and supported to receive a tattoo.
