An outdoor chaise lounge may include a frame, multiple legs coupled to and extending below the frame to support the frame, a seat member coupled to the frame to enable a user to sit or lay on the seat member, a lock-box fixedly supported by the frame that enables a user of the outdoor chaise lounge to store and lock items therein. The lock-box may include a lock-box door inclusive of a user interface that enables a user to lock and unlock the lock-box. A door member may be coupled to the seat member and have a closed position and an open position such that when said door member is in the open position, the user has access to the user interface on the lock-box door.

A buoyant pool lounge chair frame and buoyant pool lounge chair using the same are disclosed. In one embodiment of the buoyant pool lounge chair for supporting a person while the buoyant pool chair is floating in water, frame members collectively form an open chair frame including a back frame and leg frame pivotally coupled thereto. Buoyant cushions are attached to the frame members to form a chair seat, a backrest, and a leg rest. A pair of rear pivotal coupling and clutch assemblies are coupled to the seat frame and to the back frame to adjust and fix the angle of recline of the back frame relative to the seat frame. Similarly, a pair of front pivotal coupling and clutch assemblies coupled to the leg frame and to the back frame to adjust and fix the angle of extension of the leg frame relative to the seat frame.

The invention disclosure relates to a detachable sofa comprising a backrest, a seat, two armrests and a chassis, wherein the backrest comprises a backrest body and left and right side wings, and the left and right side wings are detachably connected to the backrest body; each armrest includes an armrest pad and an armrest frame, and the armrests are detachably connected to the seat. The backrest body and the left and right side wings are connected by locking slots, and the armrest and the seat are connected by locking slots. In the detachable sofa of the invention disclosure, the backrest and the armrest can be further disassembled into smaller components, which can occupy smaller space and volume during storage and transportation, thus greatly reduce storage and transportation costs.

A portable seat, comprising an internal frame; a cover; and one or more hook assemblies; wherein said internal frame is encased by said cover; wherein said one or more hook assemblies comprise a hook, biasing element, and anchoring element; wherein said one or more hook assemblies engage said internal frame at an engagement area via said anchoring elements; wherein said cover comprises one or more holes through which said one or more hooks protrude; wherein said biasing elements applies a force to said hooks such that said hooks pivot at said engagement area and said hooks rest against said cover; wherein said one or more holes are not configured to be sealed; and wherein said hooks are configured to engage a front surface of a bench by pivoting away from said cover and extending orthogonally relative to said cover.

A piece of furniture including a frame with a seat portion, and a console assembly at least partially received within the seat portion of the frame. The console assembly is movable along an axis between a retracted position and an extended position.

A convertible cupholder device that is configured to have a cupholder element of the device be selectively rotated and/or otherwise be moved between a variety of positions is described. As a result of its construction, when the convertible cupholder is coupled to a movable object (e.g., a pivoting member of a convertible bench), the cupholder element can be moved to and/or be retained in one or more desired positions (e.g., an upright position) when the movable object is pivoted and/or otherwise moved through a range of motion. A personal flotation system provides a horseshoe shaped float that is buoyant and can be used in a number or positions to float a person on the water and retain a beverage. The horseshoe shaped flotation device has a left and right armrest that extend out from an arced shaped closed end and dual cup holder, on the extended end of the armrest, has an cup cylinder to retain a beverage in the vertical orientation and an end cup holder to retain a beverage in an orthogonal orientation to the cup cylinder. The flotation device may have an extending strap that couples the left and right armrests together to secure the horseshoe shaped float around a person's torso.

A piece of furniture including a frame with a seat portion, and a console assembly at least partially received within the seat portion of the frame. The console assembly is movable along an axis between a retracted position and an extended position.

A modular attachment system may be provided with the ability to rapidly interchange different peripherals and accessories at different points where modular receivers have been installed. One or more modular receivers may include one or more quick-connect receptacles adapted to receive corresponding one or more quick connectors of one or more peripheral adapters to quickly connect and disconnect the modular peripheral adapters to facilitate rapid reconfiguration of chairs, desks, tables, or other furniture for different applications. A variety of peripherals and accessories can be attached to one or more modular peripheral adapters to create peripheral assemblies that can be rapidly interchanged by rapid connection to or disconnection from any installed modular housings to reconfigure furniture for different applications. The modular receivers may be attached to a desk, table, or other furnishings or manufactured as a part of office, computer, or gaming chairs, desks, tables, or other furnishings.

A method and apparatus include attaching a lighted cup holder to a seating arrangement. The lighted cup holder includes a cup holder body and a light-producing light source, with the cup holder body being attached to the seating arrangement and having a cup receptacle therein, the light-producing source being disposed within the cup receptacle for illuminating the receptacle. A light-sensitive element operatively connected to the light source selectively controls production of light by the light source in such a manner that illumination of the cup holder is provided only under conditions where visibility is reduced to the point that it becomes difficult to locate the cup holder. The light-sensitive element is mounted on a master lighted cup holder and controls illumination of the master lighted cup holder and one or more slave lighted cup holders operatively connected to the master lighted cup holder.
