Modular furniture system with storage base

A modular furniture assembly includes: a base member having a frame assembly, a transverse member having a frame assembly, a foot configured to contact a support surface, and a mounting platform having a plurality of apertures therethrough. The mounting platform is configured to be mounted on the base member frame assembly and the transverse member frame assembly, thereby connecting the frame assemblies. The foot is selectively mounted on the mounting platform, such that the foot is configured to contact the support surface when the modular furniture assembly is in an upright configuration. The mounting platform connects the base and transverse member frame assemblies together and also acts as a platform for receiving a variety of different types of feet.

Mobile chair

A chair includes a unitary tubular main frame having spaced base portions and spaced side supports. A seat frame is carried by the main frame and the space below the seat frame and between the base portions and the side supports is unobstructed. A tray is carried by the base portions at the back of the chair so as to maintain the front of the chair unobstructed.

Modular furniture unit having power distribution

A modular furniture unit can be configured to provide power distribution in conjunction with other furniture features. Embodiments of furniture arrangements may utilize one or more modular furniture units to provide one or more of such features (e.g. storage, seating, privacy, work surface, lighting, etc.). In some embodiments, the modular furniture unit includes an elongated upper member having an upper slot that has a first end and a second end opposite its first end. At least one leg is attached to the first end and at least one leg is attached to the second end. The elongated upper member may have a channel through which power cabling passes and outlets that are connected to such cabling. Different elements can be connected to the upper member via the upper slot or a downward facing opening of the upper member and/or to the legs to provide different furniture arrangements.

The bearing support (2) has a bearing point (8) in the upper part thereof, which fits over the upper end of the primary tube (9), said primary tube (9) being secured to the secondary tube (10) which, in turn, is secured to the supporting base (11).

Under-seat enclosure

An enclosure may be positioned underneath a chair seat to at least partially enclose the under-seat space and may open and close in conjunction with the expanding and collapsing of the chair. In one aspect, the under-seat enclosure is usable with side-to-side folding chairs (e.g., director-style folding chairs), with or without a footrest. Among other things, the under-seat enclosure may include accessory pockets and panels. In addition, the under-seat enclosure may optionally include dividers that sub-divide an interior compartment into multiple compartments.
