Removing Electromagnetic Crosstalk Noise from Seismic Data
One or more first sensors may be configured to sense seismic signals and one or more second sensors may be configured to sense electromagnetic crosstalk signals. The second sensors are not responsive to the seismic signals. The data from the first and second sensors may be recorded as first data and second data, respectively. The first data may be modified based on the second data to remove the electromagnetic crosstalk noise form the seismic data.

The present invention discloses a system and method for phased array sound wave advanced geological exploration for a shield tunneling machine. The system includes a phased array sound wave emitting and receiving apparatus, a probe automatic telescopic apparatus, an automatic protection and cleaning apparatus, and a signal processing and imaging system. Sonic probes are installed on a side wall of a main spoke, opposite to a rotation direction, of a cutterhead of the shield tunneling machine, on the basis of automatic detection of a telescopic state and a contact state, sonic array probes are enabled to make contact with a tunnel face by a hydraulic push rod, a focus sound wave is emitted by using a phased array emitting technology, and a reflected wave signal with front geological information reflected from the front of the tunnel face is received. A scanning direction of a sound wave beam is controlled and changed continuously through a host system, on the premise of obtaining a suspected abnormal body position, the suspected position is imaged in detail by using a focusing image till scanning of a whole two-dimensional section is completed, then the cutterhead is rotated to change an arrangement direction of an array to continue scanning of a next two-dimensional section, and finally three-dimensional geological exploration in front of the tunnel face is realized.
Calibrating time-lapse seismic images for production operations
A system and method can be used for to calibrating time-lapse seismic volumes by cross-migration rescaling and reorientation for use in determining optimal wellbore placement or production in a subsurface environment. Certain aspects include methods for cross-migration of data sets processed using different migration techniques. Pre-processing of the data sets, optimization of rescaling and reorientation, and identification of adjustment parameters associated with minimum global error can be used to achieve a time-dependent formation data set that addresses error in all input data sets.

A system can be provided for applying a dynamic filter to a velocity model for converting the domain of seismic data. The system can receive a velocity model for a geological area of interest. The system can apply a dynamic filter to the velocity model for smoothing an anomaly included in the velocity model. The system can apply the velocity model with the smoothed anomaly to seismic data associated with the geological area of interest for converting the domain of the seismic data.
RANDOM NOISE ATTENUATION FOR SEISMIC DATA
System and methods of random noise attenuation are provided. A first model may be trained to extract random noise from seismic datasets. A second model may be trained to reconstruct leaked signals from the random noise extracted by the first model. A seismic dataset corresponding to a subsurface reservoir formation and including random noise may be obtained. Using the trained first model, at least a portion of the random noise may be extracted from the first seismic dataset. Using the trained second model, a leaked signal, which includes a portion of the seismic dataset, may be reconstructed from the extracted random noise. A cleaned seismic dataset is generated based on the reconstructed leaked signal and the extracted random noise. The cleaned seismic dataset may include a quantity of random noise that is less than that of the original seismic dataset.
PROCESSING SEISMIC DATA ACQUIRED USING MOVING NON-IMPULSIVE SOURCES
Methods for processing seismic data acquired with non-impulsive moving sources are provided. Some methods remove cross-talk noise from the seismic data using emitted signal data and an underground formation's response estimate, which may be iteratively enhanced. Some methods perform resampling before a spatial or a spatio-temporal inversion. Some methods compensate for source's motion during the inversion, and/or are usable for multiple independently moving sources.
METHODS AND DATA PROCESSING APPARATUS FOR SEISMIC SIGNAL SEPARATION
There is a method for correcting seismic wave propagation paths through the earth. The method includes determining a first fixed shooting sequence for a first bandlimited seismic source; determining a second shooting sequence for a second bandlimited seismic source, wherein the second shooting sequence includes second shooting positions that correspond to second energy emissions, and the second energy emissions differ from the first energy emissions in at least one of an emission time, phase and amplitude; receiving raw seismic data recorded with seismic receivers and generated as a result of the first and second energy emissions, wherein the raw seismic data is indicative of seismic wave paths from the first and second bandlimited seismic sources to the seismic receivers; separating the raw seismic data into a first bandlimited set corresponding to the first bandlimited seismic source and a second bandlimited set corresponding to the second bandlimited seismic source; and correcting the seismic wave paths, from the first and second bandlimited seismic sources to the seismic receivers, based on at least one of the first and second bandlimited sets.

Migrating a Horizontal Component of a Wavefield
A horizontal component of marine seismic survey data from an ocean bottom seismic survey can be migrated using a primary wave velocity model. The horizontal component can comprise a shear converted wave. An image of a subsurface location can based on the migration can be produced. Migrating the horizontal component can comprise wave-equation migrating the horizontal component, where the horizontal component is input as both a source wavefield and a receiver wavefield.
