The pivot limiting mechanism, when in a second state, allows for pivotal movement of the tablet further from the use position and beyond the non-use position to move the tablet further toward a side of the chair. The pivot limiting mechanism is selectively adjusted from the first state to the second state.

The driving mechanism is configured to drive the storage portion so as to control the storage portion to move between at least an in-use state and a non-use state. The sensor unit is communicatively connected to the driving mechanism and is configured to control the driving mechanism to keep the storage portion in the in-use state when the sensor unit determines that there is an object on the storage portion.
