The transverse detector arm may be disposed on the ground. Two vertical detector arms are disposed at both ends of the transverse detector arm. The radiation source is located above the transverse detector arm. A plurality of transverse detectors are disposed within the transverse detector arm and are laid along a length direction of the transverse detector arm for receiving ray emitted by the radiation source. The plurality of vertical detectors are symmetrically disposed on the two vertical detector arms, and each of the vertical detectors is disposed towards a center point of the radiation source for receiving ray emitted by the radiation source.

X-ray examination device

Ad. X-ray inspection apparatus includes a conveyance unit, an X-ray radiation unit, an X-ray detection, unit, and an image processing unit. The X-ray detection unit has a plurality of direct conversion-type X-ray detection element arrays disposed, side-by-side in rows along a direction intersecting both a conveyance direction in which an object is conveyed by the conveyance unit and a radiation direction in which X-rays are radiated by the X-ray radiation unit The image processing unit has an edge detection unit configured to carry out edge detection processing on an X-ray transmission image to generate an edge detected image, a horizontal direction gradation unit configured to carry out horizontal direction gradation processing on the edge detected image to generate a horizontal direction gradation linage, and a synthesizing unit configured to synthesize the X-ray transmission image and the horizontal direction gradation image to generate a post-processing X-ray transmission image.

Methods, systems, and devices are described for correcting image errors in a radiographic image that has been generated by means of an inspection apparatus configured for continuously transporting inspection objects through the inspection apparatus for the nondestructive inspection of the inspection objects and to generate radiographic images of the inspection objects. An inspection system includes an evaluation device connected in a spatially separate manner to one or more inspection apparatuses. The evaluation device includes a computer unit configured to receive at least one radiographic image of an inspection object from generated by the inspection apparatus, an output unit for displaying the radiographic images, and an input unit for receiving inputs from an operator in response to the displayed radiographic images. The disclosure further relates to a corresponding computer program, a data medium, and a data stream.

Movable ray inspection system and ray inspection method for a container

A movable ray inspection system used to be mounted in a container yard to inspect an object within a container is provided. The movable ray inspection system includes: a ray generator device configured to emit a ray, a ray receiving device configured to receive the ray, and at least one chamber for receiving the ray generator device and the ray receiving device therein. Each of the at least one chamber is configured to be a standard container or a chamber which has a same shape, a same size and a same structure as a standard container such that the movable ray inspection system is adapted to be stacked in the container yard.

Systems and methods for detecting threats and contraband in cargo

The present specification discloses systems and methods for identifying and reporting contents of a tanker, container or vehicle. Programmatic tools are provided to assist an operator in analyzing contents of a tanker, container or vehicle. Manifest data is automatically imported into the system for each shipment, thereby helping security personnel to quickly determine container contents. In case of a mismatch between container contents shown by manifest data and the contents as ascertained from the scanning system, the container or vehicle may be withheld for further inspection.
