A furniture system includes a base and transverse member, with an induction charger provided in the transverse member and/or base, hidden from view and feel. The induction charger can be at least partially secured to either the base frame or the transverse member frame. The induction charger provides induction charging to a device positioned adjacent to a charging surface of the base or transverse member. The charging surface is positioned adjacent to the induction charger. Additionally, the induction charger is positioned between a first and second cushioning material. The first cushioning material is adjacent to (e.g., proximal to or on) the charging surface. The first and second cushioning materials have respective depths.

An outdoor solar powered recliner of the invention has a seat main assembly having a seat surface and a back rest assembly. A leg rest is movable with respect to the seat main assembly. A solar panel on the seat main assembly provides power to a battery. The solar panel may be hidden beneath a mesh seat fabric or located adjacent seat back supports. An actuator manipulates the leg rest and/or back rest assembly. A control panel controls activation of at least one of a light source and the actuator and communicates with a circuit board and the battery. A cavity beneath the seat portion may be provided to house the battery, solar panel, and to store a solar equipped cover. Arms on the recliner may be provided with an accessory orifice to receive a mounting member of an accessory table.

A smart gaming chair system for use in conjunction with a video gaming system. The smart gaming chair system includes a gaming chair and a body presence sensor. The gaming chair includes at least one of a speaker, a vibration mechanism and a light. The gaming chair is operably connected to a video game system. The body presence sensor is mounted with respect to gaming chair. The body presence sensor is capable of sensing a person in the gaming chair and in response to the sensing of the person in the gaming chair, controlling operation of the at least one of the speaker, the vibration mechanism and the light.

A portable tower with electrical capability includes a housing with base, central, and upper housing portions, and with electrical power and/or data outlets including at least one outlet at either or both of the upper and lower housing portions. The central housing portion projects upwardly from the base housing portion and supports the upper housing portion at an elevated position spaced above the base housing portion. The electrical power and/or data outlets are in electrical communication with a power or data source, such as a remote source or an onboard source as in a rechargeable battery or capacitor. An Ice Hot Seat provides ice fishermen with both heat and light while fishing at night and includes a hollow cylindrical base in the shape of a bucket with a seat on top. A rectangular opening is near the bottom of the base. A liquid gas lantern is placed within the base and a seat having a specially designed heat tunnel is placed on the top of the base. The base is semi-transparent providing light for the nighttime angler. The heat tunnel channels heat from the lantern out through the front of the seat so that an angler can warm their hands. A band with pockets encircles the base to hold extra fishing articles.
