A modular attachment system may be provided with the ability to rapidly interchange different peripherals and accessories at different points where modular receivers have been installed. One or more modular receivers may include one or more quick-connect receptacles adapted to receive corresponding one or more quick connectors of one or more peripheral adapters to quickly connect and disconnect the modular peripheral adapters to facilitate rapid reconfiguration of chairs, desks, tables, or other furniture for different applications. A variety of peripherals and accessories can be attached to one or more modular peripheral adapters to create peripheral assemblies that can be rapidly interchanged by rapid connection to or disconnection from any installed modular housings to reconfigure furniture for different applications. The modular receivers may be attached to a desk, table, or other furnishings or manufactured as a part of office, computer, or gaming chairs, desks, tables, or other furnishings.

The present disclosure provides a multifunctional cup holder for installation on a sofa and a sofa thereof. The cup holder includes: a base configured to attach to a sofa; a cup body; a flange disposed at an upper end of the cup body; and a control assembly disposed on the flange. A lower end of the cup body is attached to the base. The flange is detachable from the upper end of the cup body, and the flange extends radially inward towards a center of the cup body. The control assembly is removable from the flange and is configured to control operations of the multifunctional cup holder or adjustments of the sofa.

A light-emitting chair leg frame includes a base, a strip light, a light guide material layer, and a power supply assembly. At least one groove is disposed on the base. The strip light is disposed in the groove on the base. The light guide material layer covers the strip light. Light is refracted through the light guide material layer to form soft light. The power supply assembly is connected to the strip light. The strip light is covered through the light guide material layer, such that light is refracted in the light guide material layer.

The system comprises a lumbar actuator which is adapted to engage a lumbar portion of the piece of furniture, wherein the lumbar actuator will be cyclically activated in accordance with single or multiple frequencies or modes of operation so as to provide the person, sifting in the piece of furniture, with varying degrees of massage as may be desired by the user or person sitting in the piece of furniture. In addition, inflatable/deflatable air bladders are located at strategically placed regions upon the back and lumbar portions of the piece of furniture so as to provide additional massage therapy, and still further, heating elements are located within the back, lumbar, and seat portions of the piece of furniture so as to provide heat therapy to a person's back, lumbar regions, and hip regions of the person's body.

A method and apparatus include attaching a lighted cup holder to a seating arrangement. The lighted cup holder includes a cup holder body and a light-producing light source, with the cup holder body being attached to the seating arrangement and having a cup receptacle therein, the light-producing source being disposed within the cup receptacle for illuminating the receptacle. A light-sensitive element operatively connected to the light source selectively controls production of light by the light source in such a manner that illumination of the cup holder is provided only under conditions where visibility is reduced to the point that it becomes difficult to locate the cup holder. A furniture light-emitting assembly and a light-emitting seat having the same, the furniture light-emitting assembly including a strip light, fixing part, heat insulation layer, light guide material layer and power supply assembly. The heat insulation layer is made of a transparent material or a semi-transparent material. The strip light is disposed on the fixing part in a way that a back surface attaching the fixing part or by stitching the fixing part and the light guide material layer together to secure the strip light.
