The entertainment hub provides a sleek, aesthetic and easy to mechanism for controlling the chair/sofa and interfacing with remote devices. One embodiment of an entertainment hub for a seating apparatus comprising a body with a plurality of planar surfaces, wherein one of said plurality of surfaces comprises a substantially flat control panel. The control panel comprises a plurality of visual touch buttons, a remote device wireless charging pad, and a speaker. Wherein said body is arranged to be mounted in a piece of piece of furniture with most of the body embedded in said piece of furniture with said control panel being visible and accessible.
ELECTRONIC FURNITURE SYSTEMS WITH INTEGRATED INDUCTION CHARGER
A furniture system includes a base and transverse member, with an induction charger provided in the transverse member and/or base, hidden from view and feel. The induction charger can be at least partially secured to either the base frame or the transverse member frame. The induction charger provides induction charging to a device positioned adjacent to a charging surface of the base or transverse member. The charging surface is positioned adjacent to the induction charger. Additionally, the induction charger is positioned between a first and second cushioning material. The first cushioning material is adjacent to (e.g., proximal to or on) the charging surface. The first and second cushioning materials have respective depths.
CHAIR SYSTEM WITH AN UNTETHERED CHAIR WITH SPEAKERS
A chair system including a main unit and an untethered chair is provided. The main unit includes a wireless transmitter, a subwoofer, an audio stream receiver and a processor. The untethered chair includes a plurality of speakers, a power source and a wireless receiver for receiving a processed audio stream from the main unit.
Movable chair provided with cable protecting means
The present invention relates to a movable chair provided with a cable protecting means, and more specifically, to a movable chair provided with a cable protecting means capable of preventing disconnection and breakage of various types of cables connected to the movable chair by restricting a moving or rotational radius of the movable chair.
Member for chair for implementing multi-channel sound system and chair including the member
The present invention relates to a member for a chair for implementing a multi-channel sound system and a chair including the member, and more particularly, to a member for a chair, the member having a plurality of speakers installed therein to implement a multi-channel sound system and installed in a chair to provide sound environments having a sense of space and a three-dimensional effect to a user who sits in the chair, and a chair including the member.
Chair including multi-channel sound system
The present invention relates to a chair including a multi-channel sound system, and more particularly, to a chair including a multi-channel sound system capable of providing a sense of space and a three-dimensional effect to a user who sits in the chair through sounds output from a plurality of channels.
VIRTUAL DINING SYSTEM AND APPARATUS FOR RESTAURANTS AND FOR OTHER DINING VENUES
A virtual dining system where at least two diners may eat and communicate with each other in at least two remote locations. The system includes stations which permit a diner to be viewed and spoken to through audio and video connections which simulate another diner’s presence.
Electronic furniture assembly with integrated internal speaker system including downward oriented speaker
An electronic furniture assembly of the present invention comprises: (i) a furniture assembly comprising: (A) a base (e.g., a seat portion), (B) at least one transverse member (e.g., a side, armrest or backrest), and (C) a coupler for selectively coupling the base to the transverse member; (ii) an electrical hub for providing electrical power to the speakers, the hub configured to selectively reside within the furniture assembly; and (iii) a speaker system mounted within one or more portions of the furniture assembly. The speaker system comprises one or more speakers mounted within the base and transverse member, hiding the speakers therein, and saving space within a home or office, using the same footprint for both furniture and speakers, providing a high fidelity surround sound system.
Tuning calibration technology for systems and methods for acoustically correcting sound loss through fabric
An audio-enhanced furniture system comprises: a furniture assembly; an upholstery fabric at least partially covering the furniture assembly; and a speaker system positioned within the furniture assembly, the speaker system including a speaker covered by the upholstery fabric. The speaker is configured to be tuned to compensate for sound being emitted from the speaker through the upholstery fabric. A method of tuning a speaker to compensate for sound being emitted through upholstery fabric comprises: selecting a baseline equalization, configuring the speaker to emit sound at an actual equalization approximate to the baseline equalization; covering the speaker with an upholstery fabric; measuring a resultant equalization as the speaker emits sound through the upholstery fabric; calculating a differential equalization; and reconfiguring the audio system to emit sound from the speaker through the upholstery fabric according to the baseline equalization by adjusting the actual equalization by the differential equalization.
Outdoor chaise lounge with integrated lock-box to secure valuables
An outdoor chaise lounge may include a frame, multiple legs coupled to and extending below the frame to support the frame, a seat member coupled to the frame to enable a user to sit or lay on the seat member, a lock-box fixedly supported by the frame that enables a user of the outdoor chaise lounge to store and lock items therein. The lock-box may include a lock-box door inclusive of a user interface that enables a user to lock and unlock the lock-box.
