Furnishing Temperature Control System Employing An Electrochemical Compressor
A heating/cooling system for furnishing employs an electrochemical heat transfer device. An electrochemical heat transfer device may be an electrochemical hydrogen compressor that pumps hydrogen into and out of a tank having a metal hydride forming alloy therein. The absorption of hydrogen by the metal hydride forming alloy is exothermic, produces heat, and the desorption of the hydrogen from the metal hydride forming alloy is endothermic and draws heat in. An electrochemical hydrogen compressor may be configured between to tanks and pump hydrogen back and forth to form a heat transfer device. A heat exchange device may be coupled with the tank or may comprise the outer surface of the tank to transfer heat to an object or to the surroundings. A closed loop may be configured having two tanks and one or two electrochemical hydrogen compressors to pump the hydrogen in a loop around the system.
Suspension fabric seat cooling system
A seat and cooling system for the seat include a porous seat surface, an air spacer disposed on a side of the seat surface that defines an air channel, a substantially air impermeable barrier having an opening therein in communication with the air channel and a blower configured to draw air through the seat surface and from the air channel. Air drawn from around an occupant on the seat surface draws moisture from the occupant, causing moisture to evaporate, to provide a cooling sensation.
Powered chairs for public venues, assemblies for use in powered chairs, and components for use in assemblies for use in powered chairs
Powered recliner chairs, assemblies for use in the chairs, and components for use in the assemblies are provided. Electrical systems for use in the chairs, and components for use in the assemblies are provided. Control systems and methods for operating powered recliner chairs are also provided. Any given chair may be locally and/or remotely controlled.
AIR-PERMEABLE SEAT AND AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM OF SEAT
An air-permeable seat having a seat cushion and a seatback, each formed by mounting an urethane pad on a frame and then covering the urethane pad with an air-permeable trim cover, the air-permeable seat includes a fiber pad provided in at least one of the seat cushion and the seatback and penetrating a part of the urethane pad; a chamber defined at the back of the fiber pad, covering the fiber pad and shaped to rectify an airflow coming from the fiber pad; and air intake parts flow the air in the fiber pad and introduce the air from the fiber pad into the chamber; wherein as the air intake parts is driven, air is drawn from the surface of the fiber pad through the trim cover, flows from the fiber pad to the chamber, may be rectified in the chamber and flow out through the chamber.

Collapsible chair
This invention will provide a lightweight, portable device which will be adjustable and can be used outdoors in all types of environments. The device can be configured into multiple shapes for extra utility while the device is used. For instance, the user can lie flat on the device as well as form the device into a chair. Other features that may be incorporated into the device include a storage compartment, a cell phone compartment, and an air conditioner and the ability for more than one person to use the device. In some of the embodiments the device can be used by two people.
ARMREST AND CONTROL METHOD FOR THE SAME
An armrest according to one embodiment of the present invention includes a case including a passage which guides a flow of air while the air is introduced and discharged and a through-hole which is formed via the passage to allow the air to be discharged outward, a fan located inside the case and by which the air is introduced and discharged through the passage, a heating element configured to supply heat to the air discharged by the fan and an outer surface of the case, and a supporter configured to support an external force applied to the case in at least two directions to keep a shape of the case.
CONVERTIBLE PERSONAL MULTIMEDIA POD
The present disclosure provides personal multimedia pods that convert from an enclosable premium theater system with seating for one or more users to an unenclosed chair and/or to an output audio/video device capable of connecting (e.g., wirelessly connecting) to other audio/visual equipment.
Breathable cushion
The present disclosure relates to a breathable cushion. The cushion includes a thigh support portion, a hip support portion, and a waist and back support portion. The thigh support portion includes a plurality of thigh support structures each having an opening structure; the hip support portion includes a plurality of hip support structures each having an opening structure; and the waist and back support portion includes a plurality of waist and back support structures each having an opening structure. The area of the opening structures of the thigh support structures and/or the area of the opening structures of the waist and back support structures is greater than the area of the opening structures of the hip support structures. The cushion has the following advantages. The cushion has an ergonomic design and structure, and provides reasonable and reliable supports. In addition, the light-weight and highly comfortable cushion has good air permeability.
