Construction site monitoring system and method
A system and method for monitoring one or more environmental conditions at a construction Site. Some embodiments include a system and method for sending a notification to a client device based on a trigger condition. The system may include a computer server including a web server and a database; a Coordinator and Aggregator Gateway (CAG) deployed at the construction site and In communication with the web server and a global position system (GPS) network; and one or more Wireless Sensor Nodes (WSNs) deployed at the construction site and in communication with the CAG, each of the WSNs including one or more sensors configured to measure an environmental condition of the construction site. In some embodiments, one or more of the sensors may be configured to measure one or more of: an ambient temperature of the construction site; a temperature of a wall, a floor, or a ceiling of the construction site; an ambient humidity of the construction site; and a concentration of a gas in the atmosphere of the construction site.

A distributed weather system includes a storage, a plurality of wireless weather stations, a server, and an interface. Each of the plurality of wireless weather stations is associated with a user and has a battery, a location sensor generating location information, an anemometer generating apparent wind speed, a transmitter transmitting the location information with the apparent wind speed to a network at periodic intervals, and a receiver receiving control commands that include a length of the periodic intervals. The server receives the location information with the apparent wind speed and stores them in the storage. The interface is accessible by a mobile computer, and receives the control commands from a user and sends them to the receiver of the wireless weather station associated with the user. The interface displays a true wind speed for each of the plurality of wireless weather stations, which is calculated using the apparent wind speed, the location information, and historical location information.
DISTRIBUTED WEATHER MONITORING SYSTEM
A distributed weather system includes a storage, a plurality of wireless weather stations, a server, and an interface. Methods and systems for item delivery using multiple unmanned aerial vehicles are provided. The methods and systems include operations comprising: obtaining, by a distance unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), a package that includes a plurality of items, each item being associated with a target delivery destination; delivering, by the distance UAV, the package to a regional hub that includes a local UAV, the distance UAV being configured to travel a longer distance and carry more weight than the local UAV; retrieving, by the local UAV, a given item of the plurality of items from the package; determining, by the local UAV, the target delivery destination associated with the given item; and delivering, by the local UAV, the given item to the target delivery destination.

Methods and systems for item delivery using multiple unmanned aerial vehicles are provided. In accordance with one aspect of the present disclosure, there is provided an apparatus for meteorological observation, including: a prop; a meteorological sensor, mounted on the prop, configured to measure at least wind direction information; a level configured to maintain a horizon of the prop; a first GPS, mounted on a first area of the prop, configured to acquire first longitudinal information and first latitudinal information; a second GPS, mounted on a second area of the prop, configured to acquire second longitudinal information and second latitudinal information, wherein the second area is separated from the first area by a predetermined distance; a processor configured to calibrate the wind direction information and thus output adjusted wind direction information by referring to a location of the first area, a location of the second area, the first latitudinal information, the first longitudinal information, the second latitudinal information and the second longitudinal information.

The system (100) includes a weather prediction station (120) configured to receive stationary observation data provided by a plurality of stationary weather stations (110) along with data from a plurality of input weather models (115) and generate unified weather model estimates based on the stationary observation data, the input weather model data, and a processor (130). The processor (130) is configured to aggregate mobile observation data provided by a plurality of non-stationary sensors (140) and use the aggregated mobile observation data to adjust the weather model estimates.
