Seating furniture
Seating furniture includes seating units arranged next to each other. A first seating unit includes a first seating unit seat part and a first seating unit back part. The second seating unit includes a second seating unit seat part, a second seating unit back part which is adjustable relative to the second seating unit seat part between a sitting position and a storage position, and an adjusting mechanism. The second seating unit back part includes a rear side which forms a storage surface, a first storage plate, and a second storage plate. The first storage plate and the second storage plate together form the storage surface in the storage position. The adjusting mechanism moves the first storage plate and the second storage plate relative to each other between the sitting position and the storage position. The adjusting mechanism is active when the second seating unit back part is adjusted.
Adjustable chair
An adjustable reclining chair having zero wall clearance has a frame and an adjustable support platform with a plurality of articulated support sections pivotally mounted with respect to one another for relative angular adjustment. An actuator means for effecting co-ordinated movement of said support sections to reconfigure the chair between a seated position and a sleeping position in which the articulated supporting sections lie in a substantially horizontal plane (H). One of the articulated support sections is a seat support inclined relative to the horizontal plane when the chair is in the seated position and substantially in the horizontal plane when the chair is in the sleeping position.

FURNITURE ARRANGEMENT
A stand-alone furniture arrangement may include a primary piece of furniture and a secondary piece of furniture fixedly arranged in an L-shape. The primary piece of furniture may include a hinge allowing the primary piece of furniture to transform from a first configuration to a second configuration. The second configuration may correspond to a bed having an essentially horizontal sleeping surface and with a longitudinal extension corresponding to the intended head-to-toe sleeping orientation of a user. The hinge may extend in parallel with a longitudinal extension of the second configuration.
Seating unit convertible to bed
A foldable sofa-bed includes: a base with an internal cavity and a rear member; a foldable bed that includes separate and distinct head, intermediate and seat sections, each with a respective cushion, wherein in a folded position, the intermediate and seat sections are generally horizontally disposed and positioned in vertically stacked relationship, with the intermediate and seat cushions facing generally upwardly, and the head section is generally vertically disposed and positioned adjacent the rear wall of the base, and in an unfolded position, the head, intermediate and seat sections are generally horizontally disposed in serial alignment; and a bed folding mechanism that is attached to the base and the head, intermediate and seat sections that controls the movement of the bed between the folded and unfolded positions. In moving from the folded to the unfolded position, the intermediate section maintains generally the same orientation.

VEHICLE HAVING A BED LIFT IN A SLIDE-OUT ROOM
A vehicle includes a slide-out room that moves between a retracted position and an extended position and a bed coupled to the slide-out room. The bed moves vertically between a lowered position where the bed is positioned to receive one or more persons thereon and a raised position where the bed is stowed.
