A sofa bed with three moving seat bases that transforms between a bed configuration and a sofa configuration. The sofa bed includes supporting legs and armrest. Each of the seat bases, and corresponding cushions, are located between the armrests. The seat bases are interconnected with a set of slide rails that allow the seat bases to move relative to one another. The sofa bed also includes a locking mechanism to hold the sofa bed in the sofa configuration.

An integrated chair for selectively providing seating support and sleeping support is provided. The integrated chair comprises a mobile sleeping unit and a chair shell. The chair shell comprises: a pair of spaced, opposed, side walls, each side wall having at least a bottom edge, an inner surface and an outer surface; a back wall extending between the pair of side walls; and a pair of truncated arms, one of each of the pair of arms corresponding with a respective one of the pair of side walls, each extending inwardly from the inner surface of a corresponding side wall and having a lower edge that is distal and above the bottom edge of the corresponding side wall; wherein the inner surfaces of the side walls and the lower edge of the arms of the chair shell define a storage compartment sized to accommodate the mobile sleeping unit when the mobile sleeping unit is in the closed position.

The present invention, provides a foldable wall bed/sofa (100) comprising: a pivotable bed frame (102), a foldable sofa frame (108), a connector (116) for connecting said foldable sofa frame (108) to said bed frame (102), a sofa retracting mechanism comprising a sofa locking device (118A, B) for keeping said foldable sofa frame (108) folded when rotating said bed frame (102) to vertical/horizontal positions, and a bed retracting mechanism (106) comprising a bed locking device (120) for keeping said bed frame (102) fixed in vertical position. Said foldable wall bed/sofa (100) configurable to at least, one of: (a) said bed frame (102) maintained in a horizontal position with said sofa frame (108) folded and positioned underneath the lower surface of said bed frame (102); (b) said bed frame (102) maintained in a vertical position where said sofa frame (108) is folded and positioned adjacent, to the lower surface of said bed frame (102); (c) said bed frame (102) maintained in a vertical position where said sofa frame (108) is unfolded in a horizontal position.

A sofa-bed includes a fixed frame and a foldable frame connected to the fixed frame and movable between an open configuration defining a bed configuration of the sofa-bed and a closed configuration defining a sofa configuration of the sofa-bed. The foldable frame includes levers hinged to the fixed frame.

The sofa-bed includes at least a pair of tie rods made of elastomeric material, wherein each tie rod extends along a substantially longitudinal direction. A first end of each one of the tie rods is connected to fixed frame and a second end of each of the tie rods opposed with respect to the first end is associated to at least one of the levers.

It has a folding mechanism having first and second pairs of link members rotatably attached to a backrest and support members on left and right sides of the back rest. Via the first and second link members, the back rest is transitionable between the sofa configuration and the bed configuration. A seat base is movable up and down at an angle via a sliding mechanism.

It has a folding mechanism having first and second pairs of link members rotatably attached to a backrest and support members on left and right sides of the back rest. Via the first and second link members, the back rest is transitionable between the sofa configuration and the bed configuration. A seat base is movable up and down at an angle via a sliding mechanism.

A folding bed system includes a bed frame having a head section, a center section, and a foot section. The center section is connected to first and second slide mechanisms, and the head section is connected to first and second guide mechanisms. The slide and guide mechanisms are connectable to opposed walls of a structure. In some embodiments, a hinge assembly for a folding structure includes a center post securable to the center section, and a connecting bracket movably coupled with the center post that is vertically displaceable on the center post between a down position and an up position. A forward bracket is secured at one end to the connecting bracket and is securable at an opposite end to the head section, and an aft bracket is secured at one end to the connecting bracket and is securable at an opposite end to the foot section.

A folding bed system includes a bed frame having a head section, a center section, and a foot section.
