Display device and fabrication method of the same
A display device includes a cover structure, a light guide plate, and a display panel. The cover structure includes an anti-glare layer, a light blocking frame, and an adhesive layer. The anti-glare layer has a display region and an non-display region. The light blocking frame surrounds a receiving space. An orthogonal projection of the light blocking frame on the anti-glare layer is located within the non-display region. An adhesive layer is located in the receiving space of the light blocking frame. The light guide plate is located on the surface of the adhesive layer facing away from the anti-glare layer. The display panel is adjacent to the light guide plate.
Counterfeit paper currency detector with barcode reading function
A counterfeit paper currency detector with a barcode reading function includes a casing unit receiving a delivering device, a driving device, a paper currency detection device, and a barcode reading device. The delivering device includes a passageway between an upper base and a lower base. The driving device drives a paper currency or a barcode sheet to pass through the passageway. When a paper currency passes through the passageway, a plurality of first paper currency detection units and a plurality of second paper currency detection units of the paper currency detection device examine whether the paper currency is genuine. When a barcode sheet passes through the passageway, a first reading module or a second reading module of the barcode reading device reads widths and spaces of a plurality of bars on the barcode sheet.
Optical engine
An optical engine. In some embodiments, the optical engine includes an electronic interfacing component including: an upper surface having a plurality of conductors for forming a corresponding plurality of connections to a host board, a lower surface having a plurality of conductors for forming a corresponding plurality of connections to one or more optoelectronic elements, and a plurality of vias extending from the lower surface to the upper surface.
Gallium and nitrogen containing laser module configured for phosphor pumping
A method and device for emitting electromagnetic radiation at high power using nonpolar or semipolar gallium containing substrates such as GaN, AlN, InN, InGaN, AlGaN, and AlInGaN, is provided. In various embodiments, the laser device includes plural laser emitters emitting green or blue laser light, integrated a substrate.
Fiber optic connector assembly, apparatus for forming a transceiver interface, and ferrule
An fiber-optic connector assembly includes a fiber optic ferrule and a connector, which engage an optical transceiver component. The fiber optic ferrule engages a mating plane of a lens array in the optical transceiver component and floats within the connector. The engagement of the assembly and the optical transceiver component may be removable rather than fixed. The fiber optic ferrule also engages a mechanical interface to account for three degrees of freedom, while the engagement of the mating surfaces account for another three degrees of freedom.
CONNECTOR HAVING OPTICAL FIBER CONNECTION MECHANISM AND CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY THEREOF
A connector for a system circuit board or a power module is provided. The connector includes a main body and an optical connection mechanism. The main body includes a first connecting terminal and a second connecting terminal. The first connecting terminal and the second connecting terminal are power contacts or signal contacts. The optical fiber connection mechanism is embedded within the main body. The optical fiber connection mechanism is disposed between the first connecting terminal and the second connecting terminal. Since the optical fiber connection mechanism is embedded within the main body, it is not necessary to specifically remove the optical fiber cable when the power module is detached from the cabinet. Moreover, the appearance of the product is more aesthetically-pleasing, and the maintaining speed and the product reliability are increased.
Optical communication interface
Embodiments of the present disclosure include optical transmitters and transceivers with improved reliability. In some embodiments, the optical transmitters are used in network devices, such as in conjunction with a network switch. In one embodiment, lasers are operated at low power to improve reliability and power consumption. The output of the laser may be modulated by a non-direct modulator and received by integrated optical components, such as a modulator and/or multiplexer. The output of the optical components may be amplified by a semiconductor optical amplifier (SOA). Various advantageous configurations of lasers, optical components, and SOAs are disclosed. In some embodiments, SOAs are configured as part of a pluggable optical communication module, for example.
Sealed enclosure with output ports
Certain types of aggregation enclosures include cable input ports and downwardly angled cable output ports. A cover is pivotally coupled to the body so that the cover moves between an open position and a closed position. A modular component panel may be disposed within the enclosure. The component panel includes one or more distribution components (e.g., fiber distribution components or power distribution components) configured to connect at least a portion of an incoming cable to at least a portion of an outgoing cable.
Light source unit
A light source unit includes: a sealed semiconductor laser package including a laser diode that includes an emitter region from which laser light is emitted, the emitter region located at a surface of the laser diode, and a window member configured to transmit the laser light; a first lens structure configured to receive the laser light transmitted through the window member and create an image of the emitter region on an image plane; and a second lens structure configured to convert the laser light having passed through the image plane into a collimated or converged beam, and to emit the collimated or converged beam.
STRUCTURES AND METHOD FOR THERMAL MANAGEMENT IN ACTIVE OPTICAL CABLE (AOC) ASSEMBLIES
Disclosed are structures and methods for active optic cable (AOC) assembly having improved thermal characteristics. In one embodiment, an AOC assembly includes a fiber optic cable having a first end attached to a connector with a thermal insert attached to the housing for dissipating heat from the connector. The AOC assembly can dissipate a suitable heat transfer rate from the active components of the connector such as dissipating a heat transfer rate of 0.75 Watts or greater from the connector. In one embodiment, the thermal insert is at least partially disposed under the boot of the connector. In another embodiment, at least one component of the connector has a plurality of fins. Other AOC assemblies may include a connector having a pull tab for dissipating heat from the assembly.
