Optical module unlocking device and optical module

Disclosed are an optical module unlocking device and an optical module. For the optical module unlocking device, a boss is arranged on a metal front end of a pull ring. The boss abuts against the skewed slot of an upper cover. The metal front end located in the upper cover can slide relatively along the limiting post of the upper cover and at least one boss is driven to slide into the skewed slot of the upper cover and then hide into the bottom of the skewed slot or abut against a bevel edge of the at least one skewed slot and then bulge. After the at least one boss abuts against the bevel edge of the at least one skewed slot and then bulges, a shielding cage spring strip which is about to be cooperated with the boss is opened by being pushed upwards, and the optical module can be unlocked. The reliability of the optical module unlocking device is high and the unlocking motion of the optical module is simple. The optical module unlocking device of the present disclosure has the advantages of less component quantities, simple assembling, high assembling efficiency and low cost.

A medical optical fiber guidewire converter includes a first connector; a second connector; a conversing optical fiber with an overcurrent channel configured to transmit laser light and including a first and second optical fibers and a connecting optical fiber, a diameter of the first optical fiber is greater than that of the second optical fiber, the first optical fiber is connected to the first connector, and the second optical fiber is connected to the second connector; and a heat sink on the conversing optical fiber. The medical optical fiber guidewire converter couples optical fiber guidewires with different core diameters using the connecting optical fiber, thereby ensuring safety and reliability of laser light transmission in the overcurrent channel. The heat sink can absorb laser light overflowing from the conversing optical fiber and dissipate heat therefrom to reduce the temperature of and avoid thermal damage to the conversing optical fiber.

Methods and systems for multi-element linkage for fiber scanning display

A method of operating a multi-axis fiber scanner having a base including a base plane includes providing a source of electromagnetic radiation, directing the electromagnetic radiation through a fiber link that passes through the base plane of the base along a longitudinal axis orthogonal to the base plane, and supporting a retention collar positioned a distance from the base plane. The method also includes actuating a first piezoelectric actuator among a plurality of piezoelectric actuators to decrease the distance between a first side of the base and the retention collar, actuating a second piezoelectric actuator among the plurality of piezoelectric actuators to increase the distance between a second side of the base and the retention collar, and scanning the fiber link in a scanning plane.

Locatable duct tracer wire bonding connector

A connector is employed for bonding a locatable tracer wire with a lead wire. A base has a first receiving slot and an axial slot which intersects the receiving slot. A contact plate is slidably receivable in the axial slot and is dimensioned to accommodate a tracer wire and an insulator cover received in the receiving slot at a first axial position and to sever the cover and conductively engage the tracer at a second axial position. A fastener threadably engages the base. Upon tightening the fastener to the base, a shoulder extending from the contact plate is displaced and ultimately stopped so that the plate is disposed at the second position. The lead wire is also secured by the fastener.
