A bench for a bed frame having a headboard includes a base frame and a back frame. The base frame includes a seat frame and a leg frame downwardly extended from the seat frame. The back frame is upwardly extended from the seat frame, wherein a shape of the back frame matches with a shape of the headboard of the bed frame. In particular, an ornamental design of the back frame matches with an ornamental design of the headboard of the bed frame, so as to enhance an aesthetic appearance of the bench which serves as a bedroom bench.

This application describes a unique design and a method for designing furniture items that incorporate removable panels to either decorate or alter the use of a standard furniture item. The proposed furniture items take the form of standard furniture items but have recessed areas or cavities incorporated into different portions of the structure. These cavities correspond to and fit different panels which display artwork or different utility elements. These panels can be interchanged between different furniture items of the similar design.

An apparatus for holding a decorative cover. The apparatus includes a body having front and rear opposite sides, the front side of the body having a front surface having a perimeter, the rear side of the body having a rear surface, and the body having an outwardly facing lateral surface between the front and rear surfaces; and a first connector on the body, the first connector detachably connectable, continuously adjacent at least a portion of the perimeter of the front surface, to a second connector, complementary to the first connector, on the decorative cover. Furniture, such as a bed, dresser, cabinetry has a display system affixing a stack of interchangeable decorative panels to the furniture. The display system has an overlaying panelar frame that captures the stack of panels and has at least one elongated fastener securing the overlaying panelar frame on to a surface of the furniture item. The stack of interchangeable panels are each visually different such as having different colors and/or patterns and can be sandwiched between the overlaying panelar frame and the mounting surface in a pocket to immovably maintain the interchangeable panels against the furniture component. The stack of interchangeable panels can be rearranged such that a different panel is placed on top of the stack or the outermost position and thereby be visible through the opening in the overlaying panelar frame.

A bed frame includes a backrest, a bedstead and a plurality of connectors to couple the backrest with the bedstead. A connector includes first, second, third and fourth segments, in which each of the second, third, and fourth segments extends from a lower side of the first segment. A first slot is formed between the second and third segments to accommodate a bar of the backrest, and a second slot is formed between the third and fourth segments to accommodate a bar of the bedstead. When the bed frame is assembled, each connector in the plurality of connectors is fixedly coupled with the bar of the backrest, and snap-fitted on the bar of the bedstead.

A multi-piece foldable headboard has a foldable multi-piece body member made using a plurality of panels that can be expanded when in use or collapsed for shipping and storage. A latch is provided to lock the body member in the fully expanded position, and posts are attachable for connection to a bed frame. The front surface of the body member is overlaid with a sheet of flexible material that functions as a hinge between the panels to give the headboard the look of a solid one-piece headboard when in the fully expanded, unfolded state.

An interactive headboard system includes an interactive headboard configured to be attached to a bedframe. The interactive headboard comprises a video screen, and optionally one or more additional sensory output devices such as for example, one or more speakers, fans, scent ports, and/or motion actuators. The system may aid in the immersion of a viewer within the images presented on the video screen, helping them to relax. The system may also comprise a bed frame and/or an interactive footboard.

A bed frame installation structure, having two bed posts spaced apart from each other and a bed support rod; a bottom of each end of the bed support rod is bent and warped into a hook piece, and a top side of which is formed with a locking plate; a locking hole and a hook hole are formed on each bed post corresponding to a corresponding end of the bed support rod; the hook piece is accommodated in a corresponding bed post to engage with a lower edge of the hook hole, and the locking plate is fixed to the locking hole by a screw. A bed frame structure is also disclosed having a bed surface frame and two bed frame installation structures spaced apart from each other; a bed side beam is provided between two corresponding bed posts of the two sets of the bed frame installation structure.

A method for packaging a bed includes disassembling a headboard into a first headboard, a second headboard, a third headboard, and a fourth headboard; placing one of the first headboard and the second headboard with a back thereof facing upward; placing one of the first headboard and the second headboard with a back thereof facing upward to allow an opening of a first accommodating groove or a second accommodating groove on the back thereof to face upward; placing the third headboard and the fourth headboard side by side with a back facing upward into the accommodating groove, allowing openings of a third accommodating groove and a fourth accommodating groove to face upward; placing stacked slats into the third accommodating groove and the fourth accommodating groove, and placing a first transverse keel, a second transverse keel, and support legs into the third accommodating groove and the fourth accommodating groove.

Disclosed are connectors and collapsible bed frames. A collapsible bed frame includes first and second frame units disposed side by side. Each of the first and second frame units comprises a plurality of bar units with adjacent bar units rotatably connected with each other. A collapsible bed frame also includes an inner lateral bar unit disposed between the first and second frame units, and rotatably connected with the first and second frame units. During contraction and expansion, the first frame unit, the second frame unit and the inner lateral bar unit remain substantially on a first plane defined by a top surface of the collapsible bed frame when it is expanded.
