Digital Adaptive Optics Encoder Module

A digital adaptive optics encoder module includes an input mounting flange, a collimating lens, a bandpass filter, digital adaptive optic elements, refocusing lens, an output mounting flange, and a housing. The input mounting flange is capable of attaching to a telescope. The collimating lens is capable of expanding light from a target to fill a plurality of primary apertures. The bandpass filter has a bandwidth ranging from about 40 nm to about 100 nm. The digital adaptive optic elements include the plurality of primary apertures, an optical spreader, a focusing optic, and a detector. The refocusing lens is capable of refocusing an output from the digital adaptive optic elements onto a sensor plane. The output mounting flange is capable of attaching to an output connection. The housing encloses all of the interior components of the digital adaptive optics encoder module.

A telescope system includes a telescope and a selective shielding unit including at least one member including a passage allowable region for an observation target electromagnetic wave and a passage blocking region for the observation target electromagnetic wave. The telescope includes a position detectable detector that detects the observation target electromagnetic wave on a surface different from a focal plane of the telescope. The selective shielding unit is disposed on a front side of the detector. Patterns of the passage allowable region and the passage blocking region of the at least one member and disposition of the at least one member are set to allow for reconstruction of an observation image based on an image detected in the detector.

Automatic scope zoom sensing for rifle mounted clip-on fire control displays

An automatic zoom-sensing riflescope display adapter (RDA) system can illuminate an iris of a user with a beam from a light emitter. The RDA system can activate a display which includes at least one graphical element visible by the user through an eyepiece. Additionally, the RDA system can focus an image of the iris on a sensor. The RDA system can determine a diameter of the iris from the image of the iris using an iris analyzer. The RDA system can develop a calibration table that correlates the diameter of the iris to a zoom level of an optical scope. The RDA system can estimate the zoom level of the optical scope from the diameter of the iris via the calibration table. Additionally, the RDA system can adjust, to match the zoom level, a font size of the at least one graphical element of the display.

A holographic, single-unit, augmented sight has a housing containing a see-through holographic eyepiece; at least one of a visible light digital camera and an LWIR digital camera; a display to display an image from the camera(s); a shutter presenting the display; a red dot fiber-coupled LED reticle assembly using a spherical ball configuration sandwiched between two matching seats which are compressed together to contain the spherical ball configuration optical position; and a lever attached to the spherical ball configuration to rotate the ball by moving the lever up/down, left/right to adjust windage and elevation; a lower coupling prism presenting the reticle of the reticle assembly.

The adjusting ring is rotatably disposed around the main body to rotate the outer sleeve relative to the main body and the inner sleeve. The locating element includes a fixing element, an elastic element and a locating sleeve, wherein the locating sleeve is placed to penetrate through the main body and the locating hole and against an outer surface of the inner sleeve, the fixing element is disposed on the adjusting ring, and the elastic element includes a first end placed against the fixing element and a second end placed against an interior of the locating sleeve.
