REFLECTIVE TRUNCATED BALL IMAGING SYSTEM
A reflective truncated ball imaging system includes: a reflective truncated ball element having a first surface, a second surface and a third surface for reflecting incident light beams from an object having a width of X entering into the first surface, from the second surface towards the third surface to exit the third surface and form an image of the object with a width Y; a focusing lens for focusing the reflected light beams exiting the third surface; and a sensor or view finder for sensing or viewing the light beams focused by the focusing lens.
Orientation system for image recording device
An image recording device having a projected viewfinder is described that projects individual, or multiple sets of synchronized framing beams onto a target image that are coaxially aligned with the field of view of the camera. The set of framing beams is projected onto the target image beyond the scope of the field of view being recorded by the image recording device but still within the field of vision of the operator of the device. In this way, the operator of the image recording device will be able to clearly see the framing beams identifying the limits of the recorded areas, while not having any portion of the field of view of the image recording device obscured by the framing beams themselves.
Magnification Apparatus
A magnification apparatus includes a main body, an inner sleeve, an outer sleeve, an adjusting ring and a locating element. The inner sleeve is disposed within the main body. The outer sleeve includes a locating hole, wherein the outer sleeve is rotatably disposed around the inner sleeve. The adjusting ring is rotatably disposed around the main body to rotate the outer sleeve relative to the main body and the inner sleeve. The locating element includes a fixing element, an elastic element and a locating sleeve, wherein the locating sleeve is placed to penetrate through the main body and the locating hole and against an outer surface of the inner sleeve, the fixing element is disposed on the adjusting ring, and the elastic element includes a first end placed against the fixing element and a second end placed against an interior of the locating sleeve.
SCOPE VIEWING APPARATUS
An apparatus for projecting the view of a spotting scope onto a device is provided. The scope viewing apparatus includes a frame having a first side and a second side, the first side of the frame including mounting brackets and synchronizing blocks, wherein the synchronizing blocks lay atop the mounting brackets. The second side of the frame comprises opposing arm members perpendicularly protruding from the second side of the frame, where the opposing arm members are configured to receive a spotting scope therebetween. An interior of the synchronizing blocks is configured to slidably receive a device into an interior of the mounting brackets such that a lens of the device is aligned with an eyepiece of the spotting scope.
Sighting telescope with optimized exit pupil
Regarding a sighting telescope comprising an objective and a reversing system, a first and second image planes respectively being configured between the objective and the reversing system and on a reversing system's side facing away from the objective, where an intermediate image projected by the objective into to the first image plane is reproduced into the second image plane, the invention stipulates an optical unit situated on the reversing system's side away from the objective to make visible the intermediate image in the second image plane.
LONG-RANGE OPTICAL DEVICE WITH A GRATICULE
The invention relates to a long-range optical device (1) with an observation beam path (8) and a graticule for aiming at a target, and with a laser rangefinder (15), wherein a transmitting beam path of a laser transmitter (16) runs at least partly in the observation beam path (8), and wherein in an objective housing (63) a joint is arranged and at least one lens of the objective (31) is mounted to be movable by means of the joint in the objective housing (63), and wherein the joint comprises a bearing housing (66) fixed in the objective housing (63) and a lens tube (64), and at an object-side end of the lens tube (64) a front objective lens system (61) of the objective (31) is arranged and an eyepiece side end of the lens tube (64) is mounted pivotably in the bearing housing (66).
CONSTANT MAGNIFICATION LENS FOR VISION SYSTEM CAMERA
This invention provides a lens assembly for a vision system, allowing for a constant magnification at various focal distances. The lens assembly resides movably/adjustably along the optical axis relative to the sensor. In an embodiment, the lens assembly includes a fixed rear lens and a front lens that is moved mechanically to focus the object image on the image sensor. The lens assembly can alternatively include a liquid lens that is controlled to adjust magnification with respect to a fixed front lens so as to maintain a constant system magnification. The liquid lens resides between the (fixed) front lens assembly and the image sensor and can be controlled to focus the image onto the image sensor.
