Detachable deep-viewing coaxial illuminator for flashlights with companion telescopic magnifier
A deep-viewing coaxial illuminator accessory that may be easily reversibly attached to commercial high-brightness, focusable-beam flashlights to provide shadow-free viewing of subject matter up to 20 ft or more away is disclosed.
A miniature companion telescopic magnifier for optional use with the coaxial illuminator that provides erect-image magnified viewing and may be easily reversibly attached to the illuminator is described.
Reading aid
A reading aid for magnifying text includes a first frame. The first frame comprises an annular wall that extends from a top to a bottom. The bottom is open. A first lens is positioned in the top. A second lens is adjustably coupled to an interior of the annular wall. The second lens is parallel planarly positioned relative to the first lens. A power module is coupled to the first frame. A plurality of lights is coupled to an upper end of the first frame. The lights are operationally coupled to the power module. The second lens is adjustably positionable relative to the first lens to obtain a magnification level required by a user. The lights are configured to illuminate a printed item positioned beneath the first frame such that the printed item is readable by the user.
LOUPE WITH MAGNETICALLY INTERCHANGEABLE TELESCOPES
Loupes with magnetically interchangeable telescopes. Each loupe may include an anchor assembly and a telescope assembly. Either assembly may include a magnet. The other assembly may include a magnetic element. The telescope assembly may be releasably adjoined to the anchor assembly by magnetic attraction. The magnetic attraction may include magnetic interaction between the magnet and the magnetic element. Geometrical shape and magnetic properties of each of the magnet and the magnetic element, and placement of each within its assembly, may be set for maintaining releasable adjoinment of the assemblies. The loupe may provide a magnified view of a visual field, such as a clinical setting. The telescope assembly may be interchangeable in the loupe for another telescope assembly. The interchangeable telescope assemblies may provide different magnifications of the field. Loupes may be paired for binocular magnified viewing of the field.
Loupe attachment apparatus and system
According to an exemplary embodiment, a loupe attachment for glasses may be provided. The loupe attachment may include a loupe and a number of optical devices such as mirrors or prisms. The loupe and the optical devices may be connected to eyeglasses and be positioned as desired. The loupe and the optical device may be connected to the glasses on number of locations and the relative position of the loupe and optical devices in the trajectory of light may be modified. According to a second exemplary embodiment, loupes may be rigidly connected to eyeglasses and a number of optical elements may be rigidly or rotatably connected to the front end of the loupe so as to reflect the field of view situated at an angle from the loupe viewing direction.
Follow-up fixed focus system
A follow-up fixed focus system includes a fixed focus device, and the second end of the fixed focus device is in contact with a sample plate; when the sample plate has a small protrusion, the second end of the fixed focus device is pushed by the protrusion of the sample plate. When the sample plate has a small depression, the second end of the fixed focus device is in contact with the sample plate all the time under the action of self gravity of an observation device, so that the imaging distance between an object lens and the sample plate is kept unchanged.
Magnification system
A magnification system includes an electronic device that has a display. The display may display an image. A case is provided and the case has the electronic device is removably positioned within the case such that the display is visible. A magnifier is removably coupled to the case. Thus, the magnifier magnifies the image on the display thereby enhancing visibility of the image.
Portable magnifying assembly
A portable magnifying assembly includes an external electronic device that may display an image. A bellows has a top end, a bottom end and a peripheral wall extending therebetween. The top end is open and the bellows are substantially hollow. The bottom end may be positioned on a support surface and the bellows may be positioned in an extended position. A magnifying plate is removably positioned on the bellows thereby facilitating the magnifying plate to magnify the image displayed on the external electronic device when the bellows is positioned in the extended position.
Magnification viewer lens
A magnification viewer lens device is provided that is used to magnify objects when viewed through the device. The device comprises a magnification lens housing supporting a magnification lens, whereby the housing is supported along its perimeter by an arm assembly. The arm assembly comprises an elongated arm and a clamp, whereby the arm assembly is rotatable relative to the housing and to the clamp. The clamp forms a rounded clamping member that is suitable for securing the device to a golf cart steering wheel or alternate support. The arm and the housing remains static relative to the hinge joints of the arm using friction hinges, while the housing supports a Fresnel lens for magnifying objects when viewed therethrough. In one embodiment, the housing is substantially rectangular and the arm and clamp are designed to secure the housing over the scorecard area of a golf cart steering wheel.
