The device can be attached to a fitted bed sheet by at least one fastener, and upon weight activation, emit a cold temperature from internal gel packets to reduce fever. In differing embodiments, the cover of the device may have a plurality of indicia such as but not limited to: patterns, logos, emblems, images, symbols, designs, letter, number, words, characters, animals, advertisements, brands, etc.

This construction of the mattress provides the contouring pressure relief that a visco-elastic foam provides with a top surface with quick recovery (a latex-like “bounce”) that prevents people from getting “stuck” in the visco-elastic foam and improves the springiness of the mattress. The mattress may also include straps and cinches to aid in transportation of the mattress. The mattress may also include removable covers that aid in keeping the mattress clean.

Each of the conduit circuits selectively and independently directs fluid through its respective zone in order to produce a temperature within the zone that is independent of the temperature outside the zone. The system also includes an arrangement of one or more zones in an arrangement in which the control unit is programmed to vary the zone temperature over time according to a schedule.

Each string has first and second opposed plies of fabric and a plurality of pockets formed along a length of the string by transverse seams joining the plies. At least one spring is positioned in each of the pockets. The water permeable fabric used to make at least some strings comprises warp knit polyester fabric.

The mattress includes a core that is coupled with a bottom surface of the cushion layer. The core includes a matrix of rebond foam pieces that includes at least 5% foam pieces having volumes of less than about 0.5 in.sup.3, at least 40% foam pieces having volumes of between about 0.5 and 2.0 in.sup.3, and at least 20% foam pieces having volumes of greater than 2.0 in.sup.3, wherein the core has an IFD of between about 21 and 36. The mattress includes a base layer coupled with a bottom surface of the core. The base layer has an IFD of between about 28 to about 70 and a density of between 1.5 lb./ft.sup.3 to about 2 lb./ft.sup.3.

The padding system also includes a first transition portion attaching the first pocket assembly to the second pocket assembly, where the first pocket assembly and the second pocket assembly form a string array, and a second transition portion configured to attach the string array to a bedding substrate.
